- metalfenix_Raf7 years agoRising VeteranI don't have a heart to do it..even with the pancakes angry with each other I felt a bit bad divorcing them and moving away Bob afterwards.
- neylajc7 years agoSeasoned AceI don't break them up once they're married, divorces make me sad. But my Sims usually go through at least 2 relationships before they find the one.
- I don't care for doing it either, so I usually just create the original couple with their kids and then create their new spouses, I move the other couple out and keep the new couple together with the kids and then you can just transfer the kids back and forth.
- Same here. I only break up my Sims when I have a specific...story plot (can't think of another term for it) in mind for them.
- pebblesrcks7 years agoRising VeteranMy sim Evan Straud (son of Vlad and Evie Delgado) proposed to his gf, Morgana Rasoya FOUR times and one of those times, he actually did it autonomously (thanks to MCCC) but the silly girl kept turning him down. So I got fed up and had him break up with her. His twin sister, Scarlett married a townie and I moved him in, but somehow, she kept flirting autonomously with Salim Benali's son whenever they were in a club gathering. So I took drastic measures and had the hubby *accidentally* get struck by lightning and he died. Few days later, I had Ricardo Benali move in as a 'roommate with benefits'
- Sometimes I just want a change and let them break up.
- 1. I break up a couple if they stray too much and don't care for other partner too much.
2. If one is kind of lothario, I keep them together, but with affairs.
3. If couple is meant to be, they can't be broken up and, flirts aside, don't have affairs. - 5782341b77vl7 years agoSeasoned AceSince Sims3 (my first game), I never allowed MY Sims to get a divorce. It's a " 'til Death do you part" type of deal! >:)
As far as the premade Sims (when I used to play them), it depends on their relationship with their spouses. As an example: Morgana Wolff and Thornton Wolff - I nearly always divorced Thornton. Morgana wanted to have kids and a big family. Thornton had commitment issues and dislike children. Kept together, one of them would've been unhappy. I gave them both a new start on life by having them divorce.
Sims4 premade Sims, I've only played with the Pancakes family but I didn't divorce them.
My Sims have STOLEN the spouses from many households, over the years - both in Sims3 and Sims4! Will I do it again? Of course! >:) I love a little bit of drama in my game! - I rarely break up married couples (I broke up the Landgraabs once but didn't feel bad about it all until Geoffrey died. Then I sent Malcolm to live with Johnny) but I break up unmarried ones all the time. Sometimes I feel like they aren't going anywhere (for lack of a better phrase) or I feel like I could have a better storytelling opportunity elsewhere.
- Lyrie187 years agoSeasoned AceI do it when sims are too flirty with someone not their partner and they are not even romantic!
Other then that, MCCC does my dirty work kek.
I use the new break up feature but its set fairly, the get engaged, get married and have children is always a precentage higher then the breakup setting.
Also I like that the mod setting just does not break them up, it can make them drift apart or go through a rough patch, but they have the chance to fix that.
I kinda like it because I sometimes mesh together sims I would like them to be with and they are like nah, we don't like each other xD
Buuuuutttt I usually still make them give me a baby cuz genetics kek~.
