You must be right, I just went on to the help again, and I got it this time! I am so happy!

The guy I spoke to last night had said he was giving me their 'policy' on it then, and when I tried to push it he hung up on me. So maybe today they have had more complaints and decided to rethink their policy on it.

I'm just glad I got it in the end, cos I would never have bought the pack where I did if I hadn't seen EA staff saying we could buy it anywhere.

Having the same problem. I'd like to go through EA support, but every time I choose the "select contact option" the site just stops responding. It never loads the next step.

Maybe their servers are busy at the moment or something. Glad others are getting some resolution though!

Managed to get into a live chat on the site just now, and the advisor applied the content to my account immediately. Very quick and easy process in the end! Thanks to everyone who suggested doing it this way.

I just got off a live chat. Shout out of thanks to the EA advisor who helped me cuz I got my bonus content. :)

I've bee busy all day and I didn't get a chance to talk to the support again. This is so tiring. Ugh.

It looks like there was enough fuss for them to decide to apply it to every. Congratulations.

I'm curious to see how they do this again. I bet they will emphasize it.

I'm trying to convince the EA contact in chat now, but with very little luck. He completely denies that they can help and wants to get rid of me. Seems like they lost their helping spirit.

What? that sucks. I literally just got it. Maybe try starting a new help chat.

I got off with live chat and the person said that the team is looking into fixing it. I'm just guessing, but I think they probably received a lot of feedback and are just gonna make it so everyone who pre-ordered regardless of the site they got it from gets the pre-order items. That's just a guess though. The only way I was able to get a hold of them was via tech support connectivity because all of the other categories disabled live chat and had no phone option.

I'm actually talking on the phone to an advisor who is very nice because I could not get the live chat to work for the life of me, but I sincerely doubt I will be able to get the bonus content like everybody else. Ugh! Sim Guru Romeo tweeted out the same thing on June 11th that the guy from EA help did. This is exactly why I don't trust the Sims team. They say one thing and the only ones who pay the price are the players. I can't blame the Sims Advisors because they didn't cause the problem: it's the Sim Gurus and the execs at EA who did not make the terms clear.

It may be just the luck of the draw who you end up chatting with. There are people over at the HQ forum who are still failing and others who are getting it.

If you have no luck with someone I recommend trying again and hopefully get someone different.
