So, after an initial discussion where i asked for your insight about which computer i should buy to improve my gaming experience with sims 4, i've decided that i'll buy a desktop, but i'll be buying the components one by one.So, now i would like to ask your opinions on the components i'm considering atm:- graphic card- Powercolor Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB OC- ram- Team Group T-CREATE CLASSIC 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL22 Silver- cpu- AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.9Ghz 65W s/ Cooler*i'm also open to suggestion on other components as this is a work in progress

In your other post you stated that you are on a budget, and didn't have much knowledge about computers. For those reasons, I would recommend buying a complete desktop instead of building one from scratch. If it doesn't come with enough RAM, that's easy and cheap to add. You don't need a graphics card to play TS4---I use onboard graphics in my $500 Dell, and I play the game on the highest settings without issue

I know the headache of trying buy the best pc on a budget and not knowing much about computer specs ???Good choice to go with a desktop though! I have no experience with building a desktop but that's cool you have someone to build it for you! I've brought used PC's with little to no wear without any issues.if you can save just a bit more you could do an MSI gaming desktop. Or something similar.But out of brands I've tried MSI has brought nothing but happiness to my gaming life. That's some good specs Babykittyjade. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 myself (Gigabyte), and it has lasted me for very long. It's also quiet, which I like.As for the question about SSD, SSD helps with loading times, not generally performance.

For those reasons, I would recommend buying a complete desktop instead of building one from scratch. If it doesn't come with enough RAM, that's easy and cheap to add. You don't need a graphics card to play TS4---I use onboard graphics in my $500 Dell, and I play the game on the highest settings without issue

Oh that would be so much easy and less expensive! I'll check with the guy that uses to take care of my laptop. Thank you for the tip.

Ok, i've checked with the tech (by message only) and he said he has to look in my laptop if it can get more ram... but he said it can get an ssd. Maybe it will help with sims performance... what do you think?

Hmm thank you! I was reading about that right now... i think i prefer to go the desktop way... i don't even know which exact graphic card i have on the laptop. It may be better to start from 0 than spending money on my laptop...
