Used to be it was easy for a pregnant Sim to die. At least in Sims2. She could either starve to death (which was really an all-systems failure, as in her needs dropped way too quickly), or by taking out the garbage. :open_mouth: Talk about your weirder stories … "GalacticGal;c-16018846" wrote:

Oh yes, the good ol' days. Back then I actually had to try really hard for my pregnant sims to survive. I still remember the first time I managed to get a Sim through all stages to give birth. Felt like such an achievement. :joy: (I was pretty young back then okay!)- MidnightAura868 years agoSeasoned AcePregnant sims can't die?
Why? They could in previous games. Sheesh. - its been that way since sims 3 I think it was a mistake to remove death for pregnant sims
- Reddestiny9218 years agoLegendhmm I remember in sims 2 I had a pregnant sim breaking up a family and like the game was trying to right her wrong the other sims would not move out of her way while she was starving and falling asleep then she died when they did route out of the way. Ah well.
- I wish they could. I had a pregnant sim in ts2 die, she was brought back with the grim phone by her husband... came back and immediately gave birth! I was amazed that it could actually happen.
- Yes, pregnant Sims can die. I tested it and it worked with a mod. From what I know they never die (not even with MC Command Center), since they have a baby in their womb. But if you have the "Extreme Violence" mod of the Studio of Drama they die using a deadly interaction. (NOTE: This mod is very violent I do not recommend sensitive people to use).
- Stina1701A8 years agoSeasoned AceAh...any mods out there that are not as extreme? I'd love for a few, well only one Sim to die while pregnant by exhaustion or other 'normal' Sim ways for story purposes.
- EgonVM8 years agoSeasoned AceNo, they can't. Unlike in The Sims 2, sims' pregnancies still continue even when you're not playing with them. The game would get confused about where to put the baby and it would cause errors after errors (I think).
