A lot of mods have messed up with this recent patch, including CC eyes and skins. Are you saying you took your mods out and the issue is still happening ?- default CC is always going to need a patch update - just like mods do and face plates do. So you should let the creators know if you find something not working - so they can update and then you can redownload. Every patch always does that to a lot of non-EA content.
- I had default stuff guess ill star pt getting non default stuff

Not always, but whenever EA makes a change that does conflict, yeah, it will be needed.
My default replacement eyes have not needed to be updated even with this latest patch. - Im just downloading non defaukt eyes
- Then you were lucky as many are having issues with defaults. I do know mods are an issue because they are patch related. Even a tiny bit of recoding can make a mod flinch badly and not a good idea to not get updates. NRASS number one complaint of people reporting issues with his patches was him having to remind people his patches needed removing before an update, and then not redownloaded until he had found time to update them. Often defaults have the same kind of patch level requirement seeing they are based often off EA meshes.

You said "Always".
You being a bit alarmist when it comes to CC.
Yeah, you need to update when it requires it, but not all CC and mods are broken with every patch.
I've had default replacement with TS3 as well with no issues. - just a note default and nondefault CAS items are breaking with this latest update so if you still cant change eyes pull the mods folder and start testing all because outside of objects it seems its hit or miss what is broken
