Celebrities and their fan clubs
I'm having fun creating fan clubs for most of my more active celebrities. With the club system from Get Together it's easy to gather your most "loyal fans" for those fan greeting events. Requirements and club activities can vary to fit each celebrity, you only need to keep track on the age requirement or the stars themselves might get kicked out when growing up. I use the groups for concerts and other events, too, especially if my artist is just starting out. Family will often be super supporting fans and the first to join the club. If there is a free spot for a new member, I'll add random NPCs who attended with "Fan" above their head.
I guess the club system can be used even if you don't hsve the Fame system, the activities will just be less celebrity-ish.
One of my stars is retired jazz singer Olivia Clump (seated center, golden crown above her green plumbob). She always adored her fans, and still throw the occational fan greeting. She composed a few tracks long ago, that can be played on wall speakers. My consern now, is that she is far beyond 80, and will eventually die. What will then happen to her fan club? It's quite realistic that such a club would live on, administrated by a super fan. I will need to make sure that the current 2nd member is the right one...
