Charisma

Did they change the progression of charisma? The skill bar for charisma lights up when they are reading the skill book for it or when they are practicing speech in the mirror. It doesn't seem to progress during normal conversations. The skill bar for it doesn't highlight either.
Is this a change?

I have no CC or mods. Never have.

I don’t know about the skill bar lighting up, but my Sims are still earning Charsima (and Comedy) during conversations. Hope that might help answer your question.

With some experimenting, it does progress. Just doesn't highlight the skill bar. Thank you both for your input :)

I give every lot the Convivial trait, becayse Sims are there to have fun together and it builds Charisma faster. Granted, Wendy has the Savant skill, but she maxed her Charisma just through conversations.
