Cure werebies now and become werewolf later...

Is this possible? My Sim just contracted the werebies but I am not ready for her to become a werewolf just yet. I want to wait for at least 2 weeks, so if I get the cure now, will it inoculate my Sim from it forever or can she get bitten (consensual this time) and become a werewolf later?

You can get Werebies again or ask for Greg's gift or ask another were like Rory to bite you. You're fine.
