I actually think nothing other than the Sim's name should show in Live mode on the name tag. It's just too busy showing Life Stage, Celebrity Status, Club memberships... get rid of all that and I'd be happier. Or, at the very least, hide all of it behind a modifier key so it only shows up if you also hold down the shift key or something.
