Debug cheat on PS4 Not working

Yep.. you can use the Debug filter or you can type 'Unknown' in the search bar to get some items as well. I don't think all items show up for either though. Seems to me little things like the toothbrush and fruit show up when you type in unknown and the collectible items are all that show up under debug. .. not really sure about that.

So it's unknown.

For console users, type 'help' in the cheat bar to bring up a list of available cheats. bb.showhiddenobjects does not exist for console versions of TS4, meaning debug content is not available in TS4 PS4/XBox One.

Scratch that, it has to be entered in live mode, then go to build mode, decorations, miscellaneous decor, then scroll down. A ton of miscellaneous decor becomes visible from past events, like sugar skulls, a time capsule, fire opal, fossils, diamond, fish tanks, etc.

You must do both cheats in buy/build mode:

Testingcheats on
Bb.Showhiddenobjects

Directly after each other, without exiting the cheat bar. Then go into show all items, press R2 for filters and under “content” is “debug”. You’ll see the catalogue changes to debug items.

You must re enter the debug cheat every time you come out of build mode.

Searching for fruits is tricky, not all come up by name in search. If you do a blank search once you have done the previous setup, (so press L2 and then enter) it brings up the full debug menu. (The full debug menu doesn’t load by default) If you scroll half way through you start to come up with plantables. Good news is they are all pretty much together once you get to them.

Oh my @vyvexthorne you mean bb.moveobjects works without disabling Achievements? Been on xbox sims since inception (2017) and I did not know this, I'm such a nub :(

Not really noob thing.. Nobody talks about it.. Does't seem like most people even know about it. If you google console cheats they all start witht the instructions to turn on testing cheats. I only found out about it by accidently inputing a bb. command without turning on testing cheats first. All bb. cheats can be used without disabling achievements.. So you can also enable bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement, bb.showhiddenobjects, bb.showliveeditobjects and have all the fun you want with those as well.

Up to now, there's me being absolutely paranoid to keep my 2 games separate (my playing game and my building game) lol It feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Thanks heaps @vyvexthorne

I do the exact same thing.. I have my "build / mess around" save and my "actual game" save. I'll build the house using cheats in one save, put it in my library and then download it to the other save. :p
