Delete CC from CAS

It would be an interesting feature, but I just use Sims 4 Studio to look at and delete CC, so it takes me about 30 seconds to get rid of unwanted assets. I would recommend it, especially if you have a big CC folder. You have to register on the S4S forum, but it is free and there is a lot you can do with it besides previewing CC (e.g. disallowing items for random or add to weather category).

I use a program called Sims 4 Tray Importer for deleting CC. I would suggest to watch a video on youtube about that, but its quite easy to use :)

Sims4Studio is a great tool to have if you use CC. It's very easy to use, and their batch fixes for CC are awesome. I will be looking into the Sims4 Tray Importer since I have seen this mod being discussed a lot recently. @Simsandra does this help with deleting gallery lots I downloaded but can't use? The tray folder in my game files has become larger than I would like to see.

I also find that loading up a Sim with my unwanted cc, and saving it to my library, then looking at the Sim with the Sims 4 tray importer is the easiest way for me to find CC.

@Paigeisin5 umm I have no idea, I just use it for unwanted CC. I never looked deeper into it..

@Simsandra Okay. Thank you for responding. I am going to look into it further in a day or two. I was just wondering if it's possible to get rid of those gallery lots.

Well it's easy (sort of) to delete items from your library, but it would be nice when you are dressing a Sim in CAS to simply delete something that you don't want anymore without having to go into the Mods folder and deleting it there or using a third party program. If nothing else CAS could show you the file name. It just seems that this would be an easy thing to do without out having us resort to a third party program.

This was a game-saver for me back when I used CC and decided to start gutting it.

An interesting way to do it. I have one or two clothing items that go mostly invisible or pitch-black (Most of the sim goes invisible or pitch-black.) I'll have to try what you said there sometime to see if I can pinpoint the package files I need to delete.

It took me a while to get Sims 4 Studio, but I loved it. I went through and changed tags for about everything, marking clothing weather appropriate or setting their colors. It made me so happy. ^.^
