I been testing out the cloning machine some stuff can't be cloned but other stuff can be. Did you know you can make food for a party for just a fraction of the cost. Make a single male and you will clone a single meal, make a group meal and it will clone a group meal, getting ready for a Birthday party for twins or maybe just want some cake, if you clone the cake by itself it will just be another cake, but if you add the birthday or wedding topping on it than the second cake will also have the birthday or wedding topping on it, but you won't have to pay for the second topping, I hope you find this interesting. Most party reward objects are cone compatible if it fits in the 1 square slot of the clone machine, so collection items are clone compatible and some store rewards are clone compatible. Most Bar Drinks, are clone compatible along with food, of course I never tried cloning a sack lunch, or Ambroisa, but I know you can clone Death Flower, Angel Fish, and Young again potion, along with all the emotional potions, most fruits and plands are clone compatible.

Ah, the level 10 requirement is just to upgrade the machine to clone sims, but once its upgraded you don't have to be a scitest or work in that career to use it.Edit: Some interesting family tree tips when cloning sims, whether you succeed or not your get a new sim, your clone will have the same skills your sim that you cloned did when cloned, If you clone yourself before marriage it will only be related to you, but if you clone yourself after marriage it will be related to both. Also if you clone kids and teens it will count towards the happy family trait for both sims as long as they are married if not just for that sim, so elderly can still complete it. I never tried to clone a ghost child, or teen, but I am pretty sure your get another ghost child teen.Edit to keep my neighborhood from turning into ghost I go to ghost night ever once in a while and wait for ghost to show up in a house and if they randomly get put into a house that a normal sim can use, I use the wishing well to revive them and let them adopt kids, there is a 50/50 percent chance the kids will be taken by the social worker, I am trying to figure out if the social worker takes the kid some other family may be able to adopt the kid that was taken away, so its somewhat of a test.Edit: I have not tried cloning from DNA, it would most likely start in a child form, or the age of the sim during the DNA sample

I've used it to clone the crystals to sell, I literally turned my sim into a millionaire by cloning!

It's the statue in the decoration menu that costs a lot of money to buy.. So you can also sell it for a lot of money once you clone it!

@catmando830 Yes, as a scientist you can create it while at work and it will let you clone various items free of charge.. you can then keep it or sell for profit :)

Also, if you have and Cowplant and have their "essence" milked, it can be cloned as well.

I did this since I have a sim who works in the Entertainment Career and the "Playful" mood barely lasts that long at all (4 hours I believe is the longest), but the "Essence of Playfulness" from the Cowplant gives Playful + 2 and lasts 12 hours. I just keep cloning the essence and have her drink one before she goes to work :D . pretty nifty!
