- I think I have a total of 7 lights in my entire house and it's all lit up fine. I actually like the lighting.

I will be playing this weekend so after playing I will tweet every sim guru about this. I don't think this is a difficult thing for them to adjust. Many players have expressed that indoor lights are not bright enough. its too dim.
You don't have to. I am already aware of this "issue" :)
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I'm glad now that you are aware. I can't wait for the game. Very much excited.
I and so many other players would really appreciate it if the indoor lighting is tuned.
Outdoor lighting is amazing, it is perfect. Just indoor needs to be upped more.
As I explained in an previous thread, its not the lighting per se, it's that we have different max intensity per lamp, like in real life. So certain lamps will be brighter than others. I do see how that can be problematic for some though, so I'll be reconsidering this and see if we should have the same maximum intensity for all lamps instead.
I like your Sims btw!
@SimGuruMeatball, could I suggest a compromise? While many players don't want their home to look like "a dungeon" just because they're poor, some of us are actual dungeon (or mausoleum) builders. Would it be possible to just expand the range of options, either though a "dimmer switch" on the lights (low, medium, high for each type of light) or more low end and high end lights, where some would be dimmer or brighter than others in the same price range?- Ceiling lights seem to be better than wall lights. I don't even use wall lights except as decor anymore for my house.

One thing I found was that even on Ultra, my game, at least, had lighting set to High, not Very High. Once I changed that, the entire GAME looked better.
This is a great tip!"JoeWow1003;12590211" wrote:

There's already a dimmer switch you can set for each light or all lights I'm pretty sure.
I think you click the light and click intensity or something.
Yep, and it's not just limited to low medium or high, it's an actual dynamic slider."JoeWow1003;12590257" wrote:

There is one wall light that outputs a lot of light, then again it's huge so that's probably why.
Hmm, I'll check that out. I usually have all the walls down anyway, so I may not mind a huge light on the wall.- I'll also look into the possibility of getting you guys the "invisible" lights I created for TS3 - WA, they seem to be popular/handy.
- It feels to me not so much like that the lights should all go as high as each other, more like that the highest high for *some* of them should be much higher. I like being *able* to have a dimly lit room. It's like the max is now a 60W bulb - which is fine for some table lamps, say - but needs to be halogen-high.

Well, that's how it is right now :) Any particular lamp that you would like to get brighter?
