I've had tea sets disappear entirely from lots 3 times now since installing MWS. Posting here to see if anyone else has had the same thing happen.I'm trying to figure out what is causing it, and I suspect it is whatever state the tea set is in. I think this last time I had steeped the tea, but never poured or drank it, so perhaps it is getting removed when it is in the state where it needs to be 'cleaned'.Edit: Other people have confirmed experiencing the same thing. I've put up a bug report for this issue, those of you who have had it happen in your game also may want to add a "Me too" to it: Bug Report is here if you want to add a "Me Too".

are you sure you didn't exit game in between and it failed to save? that seemed to be happening for someonebut no i haven't noticed tea sets going missing maybe theres tea set burglar around :lol:

But yah, I'm sure it isn't a save issue. In 2 of the 3 instances we're talking about a tea set that was there for several days of real time, with many saves and exits and also quite a few uses of the tea set. My sims drink a lot of tea and I like the tea set better than the electric brewer because I can pore 6 cups and then just grab as desired.

I only just discovered where the new tea sets were! So far, I only get the option to steep tea, which I haven't followed through on. I am hoping it is like the tea set they gave us with one of the packs back in Sims2. It was more of a formal Japanese Tea ceremony. This would go right along with my Sim's only sister being betrothed. When I get around to this I hope I'm not disappointed.And, no, both tea sets (I bought one of each) are still on the lot.

There was a bug like this with coffee pots and pet bowls too.

Maids/Butlers are supposed to clean and replace them, but throw them out instead.

I remember there also was a bug like this with the BG tea brewer. I'm not sure If that one has ever been adressed.

I thought a tea set had disappeared on me but I was in and out of build mode so I though maybe I deleted it accidently, maybe not.

You use the same one over and over.

I'm pretty sure that all of the times mine has disappeared I have left it in a state where it needs cleaning, so I think @EmmaVane and @83bienchen may be on to something regarding the similarity between what I'm seeing with the tea set and the old bug of other things being thrown out instead of cleaned and replaced.

It's like the summer drink trays in the game. You can pour drinks and then pick up a drink cup from the tray. After a while you will have to clean it.

Thanks for mentioning the summer drink tray. One of the reasons I have my sims drink a lot of tea is because I added caffeine to the teas (i.e. they restore some energy) with a varying amount based on the type of tea and I keep forgetting to add Iced Tea from the tray to my mod for that. I remember while I'm playing, but then always forget by the time I quit playing. Your comment reminded me before I launched the game just now. :lol:

You modded caffeine into all the teas?? :open_mouth: Can you adjust how big an energy boost you get? I am so jealous if you can add caffeine to make the bar fill up after drinking a cup. The small energy gains is one of my frustrations with the coffee in Sims 4.

irl I am always drinking coffee and tea so I give my Sims my same caffeine addiction. I have some food mods that make bubble tea too.

@Elliandre, yah, I added energy gain to all of the drinks that should have caffeine so they give an energy boost and can adjust how much as desired. It's a pretty straightforward tuning edit using Sims 4 Studio.

There's a similiar mod available by Simularity here which also increases the energy that coffee provides as well as adding it to teas, energy drinks, soda, etc.
The only reason I did my own is because that mod missed a couple of the teas and because it gives a flat rate energy gain that is the same for all of the drinks and I wanted it to be different (i.e. green tea has less energy gain then black tea, etc.)
