- Nindigo796 years agoSeasoned NoviceWho said it appeals to me? I just like collecting Sims 4 content and usually, there is something I enjoy or find useful. Doesn't mean all of it or the theme even has to appeal to me. I'm just not busy complaining like others are. Be careful with assumptions ;)
- I think another plus for the classess being rabbitholes is that they don't require another lot. After all, for active classes you need lots and people complain that apparently there isn't enough of those in Sims 4 as it is.
- Personally its fine by me. But i get where you and other people are coming from. I wouldnt actually mind active classes either and didnt thought it was boring in the sims3, actually it was a really neat idea, a little bit weak in the programming, like only a few sim would show up. At least it added to the immersion. Y'all acting like the get so school mod wasn't really popular.
This is a game, where you literally watch your avatar dake a dump. Everything in the sims4 is been there done that and now what. This is the game where the community wanted to do chores like laundry when they had the opportunity to vote for a stuff pack and now a rabbit hole is suddenly okay and more exciting then attending active classes.
All i am saying is that they could of listen to the feedback and flesh it out more. Why not add some sort of a mini Game in the active classes. Having to answer questions maybe... Why not make it like the go to school mod... but with programmed failures, i dont know...
When i read about some of the responses on twitter i am wondering why some of them actually play the game, because you litteraly watch your sim doing homework. "Nindigo;c-17304118" wrote:
Thanks, EA, for making the game appeal to me personally B)
My assumption was based on the fact you said it word for word.- ChampandGirlie6 years agoNew SpectatorI enjoy classes myself but honestly, I'm ok with the rabbit hole aspect of this. I mentioned it elsewhere but I think it would get repetitive with a rotation. I probably wouldn't want to sit through two sims doing the same degree and class.
I played TS2 University where the classes were rabbit holes. Even then, I remember only sending two sims to university because I didn't want to go through all of the same stuff again. Nothing against TS3 but it was really more focused on playing a single sim or household per save and that sim or those sims were the focus for the player. In that light, it was more about experiencing things with one sim or a few sims. Replayability is less of an issue with that style.
I think they didn't cut corners on the world and they tried to give players a way to build their own apartments or dorms through altering settings. It's a better world than what came with GTW, example. I could do without the pranking but that's for other players.
It's a way of building up skills and creating sims with different financial situations. I think I'll be happy. If someone really wants, they can probably create simulated "active" classes with clubs or the university organizations. - Nindigo796 years agoSeasoned Novice

Where does it say that the University pack appeals to me? It was merely a humorous statement. But let it be water under the bridge and let's move on ;) - RouenSims6 years agoSeasoned TravelerIt sounds like a lot of people are happy with the decision to make classes rabbitholes. I'm happy for you. :)
Although I'm disappointed about the rabbitholes, I'm still excited about this pack. "Jordan061102;c-17305939" wrote:
It's so funny to see all of you saying how happy you are because they are rabbitholes but you're the first to bash TS3 because it has rabbitholes. ??♂️
I've never once bashed rabbitholes ?♀️
Its aaaaalmost like simmers arent one entity and all want different things ;)- LadyGray016 years agoSeasoned Hotshot

Kind of happy about it, i was bored of Sims 3 university pretty quickly, was always tired of watching sims in class.
Same. In Sims 2 I always watched what the other Sims were doing around the dorms on fast forward while my Sim was in class. It was fast, and occasionally something entertaining would happen.
With Sims 3, it was interesting to watch one class, then it was just boring. And Sims always jammed up going into and out of class.
I know a lot of people apparently don't like rabbit holes, but I don't mind them. I like being able to send a Sim off and pay attention to another one or look at what townies are doing. As long as I can be active at work when I choose to be, and active in restaurants, I'm happy. - LadyGray016 years agoSeasoned Hotshot

not gonna lie, classes in TS3 were boring as hell, im fine with this, but i'd never ever forgive them for not putting an underwater environment in that island expansion smh
Definitely, I loved scuba diving in Sims 3.
