Yes we are always watching... like the watcher watches over the universes in the marvel comics so too are we watching these forums....
But who watches the watchmen? - Definitely agree about the amazing toddlers - those threads worked and the effort made a big difference to many of us. Those toddlers brought me back to the game for sure.

I’ll repeat the sentences I was reacting to: “ The problem that people had with the ballpits and DSV were more obvious: texture and lot quantity respectively. But when it comes to more complex issues like the emotion system, traits, etc, you tend to see a lot of "this isn't good" and not a lot of input on what should be done with it.”
You are trying to explain the difference there (in your opinion) between constructive criticism and this so called bellyaching. But it’s simply not true.
No, that's not what I was trying to do with that sentence at all. I already explained that difference much earlier in the thread:Feedback is constructive when it pinpoints a problem, explains why it's problematic, and suggests a solution.
Which is the format most feedback is given in (according to you):Over the years simmers have expressed their opinions thoroughly here (and in fact developers have proved several times they have listened to some of it by making improvements in the very areas people complained about and suggested solutions for)...Pages and pages and pages have been written by people giving input what in their view should be done with exactly that, complex issues like the emotion system, traits etc.

I find it hard to understand why anyone would qualify all those topics and posts as bellyaching instead of constructive criticism.
Well why are you assuming that I would classify all those posts as bellyaching when clearly, they align with my idea of constructive feedback?"JoAnne65;c-16810748" wrote:
and you were suggesting you found the comments about the ballpit constructive because you are trying to explain the difference with complexer issues to Cinebar.
No.. that isn't at all what I was suggesting. This is what I said (and I left nothing to suggestion, to be honest):The problem that people had with the ballpits and DSV were more obvious: texture and lot quantity respectively.
All I was saying there was that sometimes it isn't necessary for feedback to be constructive. I felt like the ballpit was one of those situations. So I was actually just saying the opposite of what you thought I was "suggesting." That's why I don't really get why the ballpit keeps coming up when I never really disagreed about it.
You're digging way too deeply into what I'm "trying to say", or what I'm "suggesting." Just read what's actually being said and there isn't much of a disagreement here. The point where we do disagree is the content of the forum. To you, most of the feedback is constructive. I disagree. But oh well? I'm not trying to change your mind about that, that's your experience and your opinion.
I'm not even the one who made the claim that the gurus respond more often to constructive feedback than they do to bellyaching, all I actually did was answer someone's question - and apparently you don't even disagree with my answer because according to you, constructive feedback includes the same things that I outlined... so that's why I'm a little lost as to why I'm having this discussion in the first place.- Goodywood7 years agoNew Adventurer

Oh I see! Yeah agree. And also getting out and getting some fresh air too.
Thank you for explaining! - Simburian7 years agoNew TravelerAs Gurus are more likely to read the Sims 4 Forum as @SimGuruMrE does, than the 3 one I would be grateful if they could pass on the request to do a complete download of Sims 3 build and buy items as a pack so that I don't have to keep having to do it myself. The Store is broken for me.
I'm waiting for the Terrain Tools as I am a bit bored with my game at the moment so that might get me back to Sims playing again! Got 2,111,131 points in Bejewelled 3 yesterday and to go back to that shows I am really bored. "Simburian;c-16811524" wrote:

Guru's don't do the store. You need to take that up with Origin people. Guru's make the game - you cannot expect developers to help you with the store - that is not their job and the Guru's here are for Sims 4 - Sims 3 is done. When we had the Sims 3 store it was another whole team at another whole studio. But you need to talk with people at Origin who handle the older games and purchases.- Simburian7 years agoNew Traveler
