- icemanfresh8 years agoLegendI'm less likely to use it with bigger families, but I do love having special interests groups for my sims, like a group of bowling friends
- Ernesdo8 years agoNew HotshotThe club system is pretty much my number one way of finding future mates for my heirs :D I'm not too creative with clubs, but I like giving my sims a chance to be in clubs with cousins/family they wouldn't otherwise meet since my sims tend to be homebodies.
- alanmichael18 years agoSeasoned AceI use it all the time for children and teens, not so much for adults.
- Clubs are one of the few things they actually did right in TS4. I use them for everything from romance to making money. It's almost too powerful of a tool though and I won't use in challenges or rags to riches type games.

I don't use it at all as a matter of fact. But I think it's mostly because I forget it's there. Also I don't see that many pros of using it. Most of the time I just have my sims go together someplace and have them do something together so...
It's a fine tool, but I wish they had exclusive animations for the interactions regarding this feature besides the handshakes. I also wish there were more options when influencing someone like in past games. It's not fun enough if I can't make two random sims kiss each other. :D :p
It's also too easy to get in a club or overrule a member which also takes all the fun out of it.
It's only easy to ask someone to step down. Overthrowing a leader is much harder unless you already know most of the members.
I'm not sure what the difference is? You get to take over it easily. - When has it stopped being updated?
- ayyitsmell8 years agoRising AceI mostly use it with family members, like kids or teen cousins hanging out kind of club. My game kept making them forget the family members (as well as friends) they've already met so it was an easier way for me to keep track of their friendships and fix it quickly if it got messed up again. I don't really use it for adults unless it was best friends that grew up together (who also forgot they were best friends living in the same home before they got married). I've repaired my game many times, so Idk why that happens..Other than family members clubs, I also have a bowling club, sons of anarchy club (don't ask LOL), and a vampire club.
- Beardedgeek728 years agoSeasoned AceBasically there are three types of clubs:
Social gatherings (most of the pre-made clubs), skill training clubs (paint class, chess club etc) and "chore making" clubs (make a club for your kids and maybe their young friends, set activities to Do Homework and Clean and you basically have a free maid service that ensures your kid gets good grades). I think it stopped for a while, like there is no singing skill perk when City Living was released. then a simmer made a post here on the forums with a lists of features that wasn't being updated anymore, which includes the perk system on clubs. After that, I think they added the singing one(not sure about the vampire lore) and now new skills adds new perk to the clubs.- janyses8 years agoSeasoned Ace

The difference for me is that when I ask someone, they usually step down immediately. Done. When I attempted a takeover, it took me one sim week. It wasn't easy in the least because the members were happy with how the club was going and the leader. That was my experience. Your mileage may vary.
