Do your sims look like their parents and elder ancestors?

My sims usually look like one of the parent

I've found my sims usually favor one parent, but overall I love the way genetics work in this game!

@mushplomplom: Ooh they have a very similar nose and the same piercing green eyes.
@ironknight35: He definitely looks like both. Thanks for sharing!

I was really happy with how features pass down. I really like it when their kids look like a mix of both parents, though.

Yes, down one side of the family, my sims are like clones of each other. The genes are so strong!

If you don't really see it here, it's pretty obvious when they work out. xD

The only thing the son has is his mother's color scheme xD Oh, but his eyes are his dad's. He also has broader shoulders that run in the mother's side of the family, but I guess that's a different thing too.
This family is pretty much parent clones though, hoping the last daughter they had looks like her dad because her child self sorta looks like it xD

I have a good example of a nice mixture of two parents, eventhough it's also a little extreme.

As you can see, she has a lot of her father, but there is a lot of her mother's weirdness in her as well.
She has inherited her mother's weird upper arms, eyes and most prominent: the nose.
But eye colour, face structure, hair colour and lips are from her dad.
She also has the fittest body in her family and her dad was the fittest.
She has two half-sisters who have all different dads and they all look different, eventhough there is always a resemblance with their mom. I'm quite pleased with the genetics in this case.
