What is Don doing in your game? Right now I am building him a beautiful mansion. This is one of those times I wish I had something larger than a 64x64 lot. Both females that care for the "small penthouse" I put him in for now. I felt that the Sims legendary playboy needed more space to impress his latest romantic interests. Let me hear your Don Lothario stories.

I haven't played him yet in my game but I see him around often because he usually sells coffee at the food stalls. Nina froze to death at the pool in Oasis Springs late last year, so I guess now it's just him and Dina. :)

He went on the Bachelor and completed his serial romantic aspiration. Afterwards he realized he wanted a soulmate to spend the rest of his life with. So he made up with Dina and proposed.

He just got engaged to Nina Caliente and is busy planning his wedding with the new game pack, although he has no job or money at the moment and is mooching off Nina's mom, Katrina. So he is unlikely to pay for anything with the wedding. He was studying medicine at University and flunked out. He secretly has a crush on Bella Goth and has been chatting her up with his occult Sim conspiracy theories. He is becoming dangerously close to obsessed with Aliens and I might have to send him to Strangerville to meet George Cahill. I'm thinking of sending him back to University to finish his degree, or I might make him or Nina a Vampire for a bit. Nina Caliente is his true love in my game since Sims 2 had an attraction system and they got 3 lightening bolts in my Sims 2 game. :wink:

Don is always the protagonist of my game. Since sims 2, he's been trapped inside the sims world (which he knows is a simulation) because he caught Will Wright putting real people into the game. His memory was erased and he became the town Casanova, but in reality, he is one of the leading founders of advanced artificial intelligence. Bella, who was an engineer from a different department, was also put in the game when she began questioning things. The two tried to figure out how to get out, but Wright rewrote their story. In sims 3 Don lost even more of his memory, plus, the code was changed so he didn't even know how to save himself or anyone else. He was trapped in Riverview until the team made a mistake and allowed traveling between worlds. When he eventually ran into Bella, she figured out how to use a time machine and go back and forth to the future and past. Together they developed a new system that would allow them to make changes and finally be able to free themselves. And in sims 4...they never got out of sims 3. As a matter of fact, they got so caught that they are now not anything other than former shells of themselves. But maxis made another mistake. By allowing traits and like and dislikes. They were able to fill in their missing features and find some remnants of their former selves. Don, once again, knows who he is and has been trying to convince Bella of her identity. However, Mortimer, who is not her husband, but her handler, is keeping her dazed with potions. Her kids are unaware they've been trapped inside, too. So in my game he is a very smart AI engineer, but he has to pretend to be a womanizer bro or he'll be jailed again. It has crossed my mind several times to write a script for this. I'd love to see a youtube miniseries of this.

Don first had a son with Katrina(?), then a daughter with Nina. As an elder (after being abducted by aliens, btw), he moved to del Sol Valley to become Judith Ward's personal live-in Butler, and they had a daughter few years ago. He was mentioned at "The Simmerville Show" #1, he wasn't featured but Judith was.

My 'story' for him is that in Sims 2, he was a struggling med student who saw a marriage to the Goth family a way to find financial security and respectability, and that tends to shape the way I play him now -- he's health obsessed and mercenary, always looking for a way to marry into wealth through old widows or young heiresses...

In my game, Don Lothario can't hold a job, can't stay in a relationship long, so Don ended up moving back in to his mom's place. :D

Don knocked up all 3 Caliente ladies and fled when he found out they were expecting. He lives in a small, crappy apartment in San Myshuno, and is seeing both Cassandra Goth and Kaylynn Langerak (from ts2). When he's not too busy flirting with ladies in clubs and bars, he's hitting the gym and working as a guitar busker.

It sure was very interesting to read about the different takes on Mr Lothario. Now, I'm not the one who feel like playing after given rules or backstories. So I have my own way of handle him.

I do have the game installed on a laptop but I do not play him (or the Caliente family) there. But in my desktop install I do play him and there I have moved him out of the big house. Instead of making drama with the Caliente sisters I got him hooked up with Ms Elin Borg (originally a townie who I gave a makeover and I liked her so much that I took her into game play). And it works perfectly. Don is a top career astronaut and make a lot of money. Elin is a skilled gardener and make money on selling homegrown items. In the first picture we see them in the greenhouse that I did build.

They are not married yet, only engaged. I thought I should wait with the wedding until summer (I never had a real wedding in any version of the Sims).

My favorite Don moment ever was when I created his dad Nicolo in cas His elder dad was abducted by aliens and had a baby. Well of course he passed on, so Don raised his alien half brother. He actually did a great job of it. He makes a decent parent.

Dead, probably. Last time I played him he moved to San Myshuno and married L. Faba. That didn't last.

I have MCCC so I really don't know where Don has gone off to. Katarina married into one of my created families during the time it wasn't marked as active. Dina and Gina still lives in their house and I created a Don Lothario of my own, a politician with the goal to have a girl in every world. The skunk is ofcourse married with three children.

Love me some Don. He’s long gone from my game I’m playing now but I have played him before. He has been with two of my male sims and with one of my female sims. I know he is supposed to be an infamous serial romantic but he’s always been a great father and spouse to my sims. I guess you have to play him that way? But he doesn’t act like that in my game autonomously. Yet. lol.
