Anybody else get annoyed with the dorm rooms? I mean they are a fun idea and everything it's just a pain I think, trying to find stuff to do with your Sim when they aren't in class and it's harder to ...

My thoughts exactly! The dorm life is a fun option, but the fact that they can't have a kitchen is what annoys me and when my Sim is done with homework there's like no activities at all for them to do. The fact that other Sims keep bugging my Sim is really annoying too. I've tried the locked door thing but either it was buggy for me or it just wasn't working right and annoyed me. I do like to have my Sim do that experience though just feel like the dorm rooms and stuff was better in Sims 3.

Locking your dorm room is the only way to assure privacy at any hour. Roommates unload tray after tray of cooked food, so much more than can possibly be eaten, most of it spoils and is thrown away untouched. My Sims ended up getting their own places, and finishing their degrees from home. I mean, it's kind of a crazy challenge to try to make a go of it, but I am more interested in simply getting my Sims good grades.
