Draught of Reconfigeration

I've had my sim make and drink 4 of these drinks now and nothing is happening. I read that she should be refunded her points and be able to choose new strengths and weaknesses but this is not happening. Am I doing something wrong? Can the drinks fail?

    You must choose the right drink option, not the one on top.

    Hmm I'm only getting one drink option. Thank you for the info though, I'll try again.

    Hello
    This thread on the AHQ EA thread refers to the issue. After making the drink, there has been two drink options appearing . You need to choose the second one. There is a screenshot in the link

    When you drink this drink does it give back your powerpoints? Just wanted to know before I make my sim drink this.
