REALLY? That makes me so excited because an old timey medieval world would be great in Sims 4. It would also be a perfect pack to bring in horses. I had a similar idea for an expansion in the past where it would mix in farming and have a world where everybody lived stuck in the past. Every single lot would be off the grid and it could expand and make that kind of system even richer than Eco Lifestyle already has. I may be in the minority but I think Eco Lifestyle is one of the best packs so far in terms of gameplay. However a handful of the NAPs included are among the worst features of the game ever implemented in any Sims!!!! Back to the old time pack-- It would be perfect time to introduce something called "world traits" where you can program 3 for each world. You could have costume trait where everyone that lives there has to wear things from the costume section, low land prices world trait, higher bills world trait, and the off the grid required could be one too. There are so many possibilities of making truly unique behaviors with world traits! I think I will add my "world traits" idea to the ideas section after this! I am so excited about the future of The Sims 4! The recent patch with sentiments and noticeable traits autonomy has me absolutely loving the game even more than I already did! Disagree. Eco Lifestyle and JTB were lame but otherwise it's been pretty strong. A mountain pack has been something a lot of players have wanted for years, same with a Japanese pack and the Murphy bed.
They've added some of the best build features of any sims game in the past 6 months, they've finally improved personalities which players have wanted for so long, skin tones are finally getting the improvement players have wanted for years, we've finally got firefighters, people have been wanting stuff for elders for years so they added knitting and we now have the ability to vacation anywhere, etc etc
Maybe in the "Sims 4 complaining circle" it's been bad but if you actually look at the content other than those two disappointing packs it's been a pretty good year.- GracieFace3125 years agoSeasoned Ace

Aw I'm so glad to hear this - I love the game too!
Yup and the spoiler is just in case you don't want to know (or anyone else)SpoilerAll three are collectable Simmi dolls
I really want a medieval pack. At first I was a bit meh but when I thought about it there's actually so much they could do with it - farming being a really good tie in. I'd love it if they combined it with pirates like they did for The Sims Medieval but because they've done that in the past I doubt it very much.
I've just finished reading the normal catalogue descriptions and from what I've read it's mainly very vague 'hints' to romance but they are a bit stretchy!
Your world trait ideas sound great and something I'd love to play around with. We've got Sims trait and lot traits... why not world traits, too? - keekee535 years agoSeasoned Ace

Huh so you are saying decent stuff packs makes them have a good year?? In my opinion, Tiny Living and Knitting were not the greatest of stuff packs either. I will give them Snowy Escape but when your only decent pack comes in November you have not had a good year. I don't think that has nothing to do with the this so called "complaining circle" - Babykittyjade5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Could be another coincidence but simguruninja one time posted a twitter picture with sims medieval randomly on his screen. Maybe a few months ago. I was suspicious then hmmmmmm? - The reference to Princess Cordelia has been in the game for sometime now. I remember reading a reference of Princess Cordelia back when we had just gotten Get Together. The reference of Princess Cordelia might have been in the game long before Get Together. Because the bust of Princess Cordelia has been in Sims 4 since the game launched back in 2017.
- SEREFRAS5 years agoLegendPersonally, 2021 will only be a big year for Sims 4 if the following is put in the game:
Fairies
Werewolves
Playable Babies
Permanent Plantsims
Generations
Horses
Unicorns
Playable Dragons
Time Travel into the Dark Ages
Improved Aliens
Improved Mermaids
Spiral Stairs
Heartshape Beds
Actual Bunkbeds
Playable Singing Bands Careers
Drivable Cars & Podracers
Color Slides for Hairstyles/Eyes/Clothing
Body Hair
Nails
Claws
The Net Top Unlocked for Females
That's all I can think of. - I really wonder what the end of winter-GP could be this coming year. Part of me wants it to be Hotels but maybe they wouldn't do another 'getaway' themed pack after JtB and SE? I also doubt it's something fantasy-related because I think we will get that in fall 2021. Maybe it's romance, but after Lifestyles and Sentiments I would also see them adding an attraction system in a larger EP.
