There are some occasions where alien presence is required. For example, alien infiltration in the Scientist career, sometimes after contacting aliens through the satellite dish or alien computer (unlocked at level 10 in Scientist career), walking by on Sixam, partying on Sixam etc.

This simply requires sims in a certain life state. If you wish to make a sim into an alien, you must use this cheat:
traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlienTemplate:
Sims generated for this role are young adults or older.
They always have this trait: trait_OccultAlien.
Some will also have this trait to remove the disguise: trait_OccultAlien_Current.
