- Kittybass8 years agoSeasoned AceYes, they do. So long as you complete the work tasks and have the required skill sets, you will still get promoted by sending them to work rather than work at home. I did it both ways, working at home and sending them to work.

Do they gain skill while at work?- paigeisin58 years agoSeasoned AceNot that I can see. No skilling, just career advancement. And when they work from home my Sims make about ten dollars a day if they complete the daily work tasks. They do receive the bonuses upon reaching the next job level but the hourly wage isn't triggered until they go to work.
- filipomel7 years agoSeasoned AceI haven’t played around with the new career yet, but there’s work from home options like from City Living? If so then that’s fantastic! I love that direction of normal careers, I wish they’d update base game careers to perform in a similar fashion.
