- Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteranaww I can't watch the video, my internet connection hates me I'll watch it when it resets, (gives lots of sim cookies and pies) cheer up I know how that is. However I've learned the hard way that most people who try to change one just because they have innocent ways to amuse themselves never accept anything. So I live my life in whatever legal way that I want *dances to old 90's groups...cause she can* lol
- PART 3: Search and Rescue
Malcolm and Holly are walking through Nancy’s office.
Malcolm: Just tell me again what kind of file I’m supposed to be looking for.
Holly: It’s the only folder that might seem strangely out of place at first glance but in actuality that’s the point.
Malcolm: A file so important that anyone would think it’s just a simple folder but this way, my mom can keep a close eye on it.
Holly: You learn fast.
Malcolm: Do you have any idea of what’s in the file?
Holly takes out a flashlight and looks through a file cabinet.
Holly: I have a theory but that’s about it.
Malcolm: What’s your theory?
Holly: Honestly? It might be a file on my—Our¬¬ brother.
Malcolm: Like a criminal record?
Holly: Anything. Criminal records, parking tickets, even if he had a library card.
Malcolm looks around Nancy’s desk, stacks of papers litter the top. He checks the turns on the computer as it beeps to life. His eyes scan the computer screen and starts looking through folders.
Malcolm: Holly, what’s our brother’s name?
Holly: Johnny. Why?
Malcolm: I think I just found him.
Holly: What? Let me see.
Holly walks over and stands behind Malcolm. Her eyes widened as she continues to read the screen.
Holly: Look at all the files. Your mom’s been watching him.
Malcolm: She’s got over a hundred videos of him. Going to work, at the grocery store even his trip to Monte Vista.
Holly: Not just videos, but pictures of his graduation and with his friends. See how far these files go back.
Malcolm types away on the computer and a file pops up on the screen.
Malcolm: It goes all the way back to the 80’s.
Holly: So she’s been watching him since birth.
Malcolm: I can’t believe this. My mom has been keeping tabs on a brother I never knew about. How could she just sit at the dinner table and talk about her day at the office when she’s been lying to me my entire life?
Holly: I don’t know. You’re mother’s been a puppetmaster for a long time. She’s gotten good at her poker face.
Malcolm: Wait a minute, I think I found something else.
Holly: What?
Malcolm: It looks like an address.
Holly: Is that where he lives now?
Malcolm: I don’t know. Oasis Springs? That’s about a two hour drive from here.
Holly: Come let’s go.
Malcolm: Go where?
Holly: We’re going to go see him. Think a family reunion is long over due. - It's like my butt and the edge of my seat are best friends these days due to this thread...
Also I refuse to accept that being an adult means being a boring responsible person >.>
I watch cartoons/anime, collect LEGO and still talk about new Pokemon games like the second coming of Yoda... - Sorry this part is a little bit shorter but I'm trying to add more suspense with smaller parts :)
PART 4: The Uninvited
Holly and Malcolm walk up the sidewalk and stand outside on the lawn. A modern styled house sits before them with the lights illuminating the inside.
Holly: Are you sure you’re ready for this?
Malcolm: I’d be lying if I said yes.
Holly: You know, you don’t have to do this. You can just wait out here and I can go in for you.
Malcolm: I appreciate you’re sudden concern but he’s my brother too. I have to know something about him. It’s the least I deserve.
Holly: You’re right. Let’s do this.
The two take deep breaths and walk across the lawn and on to the front porch.
Holly: This is it. No holding back.
Holly rings the door bell.
Malcolm: Wait!
Holly: What?
Malcolm: I don’t think I can do this.
Holly: And you couldn’t say this before I rang the doorbell?
Malcolm: I’m sorry. It’s just…what if he doesn’t want to see us? Or what if he doesn’t even know who we are?
Holly: Look, I’ve thought about this for a long time now. And whatever he’s been told or whatever he thinks he knows about his life is something he’s grown to know but that’s why we have the file. To show him that he is who he is.
Malcolm: We’re seriously just going to shove a file in his face and say, hey guess what in case you didn’t know you’re actually the son of two very wealthy families and we’re you’re brother and sister who’ve tracked you down because your mother is a psychotic killer oh and I love the way you keep your lawn so nice.
Holly: It could be worse you know.
Malcolm: I doubt that. Can we just go?
Holly: We’ve come this far and I am not giving up. Not by a long shot. What is taking him so long?
Malcolm: Wait, I think I hear something. Almost like, footsteps?
The door’s lock turns and the door swings open. Malcolm and Holly stare in shock.
Malcolm: What are you doing here?

me too! I don't look at pokemon as much now and that is only because I don't have the system I want
Oh snapcracklepop! Did someone just mention Pokemon?! Awwyeah! I used to collect the cards and little action figures, until one of my nephews asked if he could borrow my huge stack of blessed cards. I don't think he understands the meaning of the word "borrow". O.O
I remember when the N64 came out and I got the game pack with Pokemon Snap included. I played that game for days. Everytime I snapped a new picture of a Pokemon, I would run out of the room and excitedly announce it to everyone and run back in to find more.
I live off of cartoons and anime. LEGOs are awwwweeesome! *giggles and flails arms around like an excited little kid on christmas**then flails arms again at the mention of Yoda* HUUUGE Star Wars fan here. Lol.
Yeah, one of the judgmental, nonsensical people my age (that I've known since Freshman year of high school) decided to stop me mid-sentence while I was gushing about Star Wars to inform me that she's an adult now and that she's put away all her toys and is mature and that we are no longer on the same page in life. Luckily we were on the phone when she shared her lame news so she completely missed the "ew" look on my face. I don't know... I don't think someone who is truly a mature adult would even say "Blah blah I'm an adult and look how amazingly mature I am!" But that could just be me.
@EAfan99 Dude! I wants to know what happens next!! *waits anxiously trying not to bite nails*
Lol, he's teasing us with short parts, the nerve, you know I think you're awesome, and I think some people have "adult" and "uptight party crasher" confused. I know when I walk into gamestop and pick up one of those "girly" games that are quite simple I just smile and ride the waves of enjoyment. yaaaaaay lol - Decided that this part was too good just to leave in a small part.
Part 5: Killer Advice
Malcolm sits down on the couch, watching the fire. Holly takes a look at the paintings on the wall.
???: I see you’re enjoying the art.
Holly: You could say I’ve developed an eye for art over the years.
???: Guess a lot can happen when you’ve disappeared for five years.
Holly: Yeah. Guess so.
??? hands a drink over to Holly and she takes a sip.
???: I’d offer you one too, Malcolm but you’re a bit too young.
Malcolm: I don’t want anything from you.
???: Come now, Malcolm. You shouldn’t be rude, after all, I am your father.
Malcolm: At this point, I don’t even know who my real family is. Are you truly my father? Or is there something else mom hasn’t told me about.
Geoffrey sits across from his son and takes a sip of his drink.
Geoffrey: You are my son as far as I know. I take it you two weren’t just passing by.
Holly: We were looking for someone.
Geoffrey: I see. And this someone wouldn’t happen to be Johnny, right?
Malcolm: You know about Johnny?
Geoffrey: Of course I do. After all, I was the one who named him.
Holly: How long have you known about Johnny?
Geoffrey: If you’re referring to the fact he’s not my biologically then I’ve known for quite some time.
Malcolm: How long is quite some time?
Geoffrey: A few years. You’re mother, always thinks she can pull a fast one on me. But I knew something was different about Johnny the minute he was born.
Holly: What do you mean?
Geoffrey: I don’t know. There was something in his eyes that just gave me this unsettling feeling. At first, I thought it was just him being my first born and me being a dad for the firs time that made me feel that way. But as he got older, I knew. He wasn’t mine. I didn’t know who the father was but I knew I wasn’t him.
Malcolm: Then why didn’t you say anything and keep it a secret from mom?
Geoffrey: There are some things you need to know about your mother, Malcolm. She’s done…things in the past that would make the death penalty a luxury instead of a punishment. If you want to survive living in her world, you need to act smart and keep quiet if you know something. No matter what, you stay out of it.
Malcolm: Why does everyone say that mom’s this monster? Sure she’s a little on the pushy side and she can be manipulative at times but a killer? Dad, you just called mom a killer.
Geoffrey: I said she’s done things in the past. I never said she was a killer.
Malcolm: Sounded like that’s what you meant.
Geoffrey: The bottom line is, you need to stay out of this, Malcolm. It’s too dangerous. And you, Ms. Alto need to stay away from this family.
Holly: With all due respect, Mr. Landgraab, Malcolm is family and as heartbreaking as this sounds so is Johnny. We both have the right to know why you’re wife is doing the things that she’s done and why she’s keeping Johnny away from us. You said so yourself, she’s done some bad things in the past and I believe we need to do whatever it takes to see that she pays for what she did.
Geoffrey: It’s funny that you say that. Making my wife pay for what she’s done. But what about the things you’ve done? Should you pay for those things too?
Malcolm: What things is he talking about Holly?
Holly remains quiet and stares down at Geoffrey.
Malcolm: Holly!
Geoffrey: You didn’t tell him, did you?
Malcolm: Tell me what? Holly, what’s going on?
Geoffrey: Should you tell him or shall I?
Holly: I helped your mom kill my father. - Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteran@EAfan99 O.O Holly really is an Alto...
