But Nancy killed her first rich husband she got everything and was never a suspect. Then soon married Geoffrey, they then had Malcolm and moved to sunset valley..... 16 years later after the Altos took over the valley, Nancy and her family moved to Bridgeport, while there Nancy and her family got TONS of plastic surgery then, her business went under, so they packed up and moved to Oasis Springs well Nancy decided that she was tired of being a business woman so she turned to crime, she made it to the top easily enough and thanks to good planing Nancy is living the good life with her husband and her gay (I think) son, who took after his mom! - Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteran

So Nancy has been converted into the black widow, I hope Geoffrey doesn't go broke or he's next. - Geez those Landgraab's!! For shame!
- I feel like Nancy is a bossy wife that emasculates poor weak Geoffrey, and a harsh and demanding mother to poor Malcolm. I feel like she is a bit of a tyrant at home demanding the best out of everyone in her house hold without giving much love in return. Geoffrey is her trophy husband not because he is handsome but obedient and Malcolm is just perfect in everyway possible and she wouldn't have it any other way!! PLZ someone save the spineless Landgraab men.
- So here's my theory but it is a bit of a long shot:
What if the Nancy and Geoffrey didn't have Johnny naturally? What if they took him? That would explain why he was never like the rest of the family and him being disowned was a result of that. Wanting to be anything other than a doctor or a business tycoon called for immediate disowning in the household. That's part of the secret but the other part is that Malcolm doesn't know the truth. In fact, he doesn't know who Johnny is at all. But Johnny does know. He knows that he was taken but his birth parents are no where to be found so he moved out of the house and into a trailer just so he could track them down. My theory is that the power couple didn't want him to know the truth about his real parents and made sure he'd never be able to use the family money to do it. - Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteran

And what if his real parents are the altos? I mean they don't get along with Holly because she's a goody goody maybe they didn't want another child like her. I like your theory. - Reddestiny921Seasoned Veteran@EAfan99 sure thing, nothing like a good bit of detail to get started on a story, that would all tie in together nicely, I could even pretend that that's why Malcolm was never interested in any of my sims, he was only interested in one young blond. Who cared about him as a friend but really only wanted to be near her brother, as he was the only reliable family member she had left.

I love that poor Johnny got disowned by his family, those mean Landgraab's. anyone knows what Jonny's real name is?
He's a performer, so I assume that Johnny Zest is his stage name. And I further assume that his given name is Johnny Landgraab. But that's only a guess.
My guess is that his real name is Gertrude Ferdinand Landgraab (family name of course), but after his near brush with death due to embarrassment from being called Trudy at school, he changed his name to Johnny Zest. This of course upset Papa Landgraab and he removed Johnny from his Will and disowned him. After an angry poop or two, the Landgraabs completely forgot what had happened and who Johnny really is.
But that's just what I think.

And with that story you could add that he is actually the secret love child between Nancy and Skip Broke, who never died in the pool ladder ''accident'', and that is why Johnny was disowned. Geoffrey framed poor Johnny to get him on his mother's bad side, he always hated that moron Skip, with his happier than me and broker than me attitude; he'd never raise what came from him! And why attack his wife? He never cared about Nancy anyways, he only married her to stop rumors that he couldn't find a woman she is is trophy.
Not a lot of sims know that Skip Broke is actually Geoffrey's brother. He was born after their parent's divorce. The better part of Geoffrey's life growing up was spent trying to find someone to love him since his mother left him with his strict, no-nonsense father. When the kids at school found out about his parent's divorce they mercilessly teased that it was his fault and that no one would ever love or want him. He never got over that and it shows with how he treats others including Nancy. He felt that if he couldn't have a mother's love then no one should have love. Until he met Nancy. He shmoozed and wooed her with fancy clothing and jewelry. Nancy growing up middle-class, didn't have all the nice things money could give, so she dated Geoffrey all through High School and later married him, even though she never really loved him, just what he could get her. As the years went by Geoffrey's true colors came through. He was over-bearing and treated her as nothing more than an object to show off at social events. Having grown tired and lonely,Nancy would go on "shopping sprees" often, but that was just a ruse. She would in fact go to bars and clubs looking for any sort of contact with someone. She met Skip and they hit it off. Geoffrey grew suspicious and hired a private investigator to follow Nancy. He checked her credit card bills and checked her phone records. She knew she was being followed and she didn't care. She wanted to get back at Geoffrey for his actions, so she continued to see Skip. Geoffrey, having his patience spent, found out about the mystery man Nancy was seeing and followed him back to his home one tragic night. Skip and Geoffrey had a confrontation that ended with Geoffrey pushing Skip into pool which resulted in Skip knocking his head hard against the pool ladder and floating unconscious in the pool water. Geoffrey took joy in seeing Skip's floating body silhouetted by the pool's lights and walked away unaware that the baby Nancy had carried years prior was, indeed, Skip's. Johnny was around 14 at the time. Nancy found out about the supposed death of Skip from a mutual friend. Distraught, Nancy hid the paternity test results showing Johnny's real father being Skip as well as everything Skip had ever given her. She stayed with Geoffrey even though her love for Skip never went away. Geoffrey, being the smug turd that he is, thought he won. He had Nancy, she gave him a son, and Skip was gone. Nancy, still distraught from losing Skip, became a heavy drinker which resulted in her being a bitter, cold wife and mother. Geoffrey despised his wife's bitterness and her obvious love for Skip. He tried to raise Johnny in his own image filling his head with lies about Nancy not wanting him in the first place resulting in Johnny becoming distant with his mother, but with Johnny looking more and more like Skip everyday, Geoffrey, again, became suspicious. One night as Johnny slept in his room and Nancy ceremoniously passed out in her sitting room, Geoffrey went into Johnny's room and took some hair from his comb and have it tested for his DNA. Days later, Geoffrey got the results back and went into a rage. He confronted Nancy and told her about his findings. They fought, they threw stuff at each other. Enraged that Johnny wasn't even his own blood and at the betrayal of Nancy, Geoffrey told her about that tragic night many years ago and that Johnny was the one who pushed Skip to his demise. With Nancy and Johnny's relationship being as cold and distant as it was, she believed Geoffrey. Geoffrey seeing Nancy's look of defeat he then decided to remove the unwanted spawn that is Johnny from the family once and for all. Geoffrey then went about removing the smut from his will, cutting him off from the family inheritance, and banished Johnny from Landgraab Manor. Johnny, not knowing what was happening and why, confronted his mother. Still devastated from what Geoffrey told her of Skip's demise, she screamed a scream of hurt and rage and told Johnny he was no longer welcome in their home or family. Seeing the coldness from Nancy and the smug look on Geoffrey's face as he walked out the doors of Landgraab Manor, Johnny resolved to never be a Landgraab. He soon changed his name to the name we know him today. He got his own place and made friends with one of his neighbors. Little did he know that the neighbor was his real father, who was secretly plotting revenge on Geoffrey. And little did Skip know that the blonde, young man next door was actually his son. And no one knows who it was that pulled Skip out of the pool that fateful night...

It truly came out nowhere, Brandy couldn't believe Skip was leaving her, he wouldn't even tell her who he was picking over her she had been excited. Excited to come home and tell him that she was pregnant again, though they weren't very rich they made every day worth it, she was a little worried but these things happen when there is juice and a trip to Twikki Islands involved. Every day she got angrier, she started snapping at their other sons. One evening when she came home she saw her eldest, her little Dustin, breaking things, with a baseball bat, he did terrible in little league but now she could see he had a strong arm. She stopped him and he glared at her and smacked her arms away, he had been okay he knew his parents were having a hard time and sure Beau was a pain but he loved the little guy. Tonight had been the last straw, he told his mother...no he shouted at his mother that she betrayed him.
Not Brandy, but Angela, his precious Angela the one person keeping him sane cheated on him, he didn't know who the guy was, it had been dark, but not dark enough to see the preppy red head in another boy's arms. Brandy hugged him, seeing him like this had broken, no shattered her heart. Is this what was to become of her family, would everyone lose their love? No she couldn't imagine that she told Dustin not to give up, that love was worth fighting for. She said she understood his pain but at the same time she wanted him to talk to Angela, work it out with her. Dustin wasn't so sure, but seeing his broken down mother's determination told him he had to try, taking his rage out on the world and just giving up wasn't going to help him. He said he would think about it, she gave him money to take Beau to the local arcade. She would fight for his father and she needed to know the boys were safe while she focused all of her attention on that.
While she was getting ready she heard the sound of fighting, she listened to the noises coming in from the small bathroom window, she covered her mouth in shock she couldn't believe it.
She had met Nancy in college, they were in no way friends, but they had spoken enough times to be civil, she was angry but when she heard Skip's scream she had to run outside. She saw a man running from the scene that had to be Nancy's Geoffrey, she went to the pool and saw Skip laying in the pool. She was livid, but thinking about her beautiful sons, the unborn child that he'd given her she couldn't turn her back on him....their babies looked just like him. She didn't know how she was able to and still doesn't know but she pulled that man out of the pool, it was a struggle but physically, Brandy was no pushover, she could handle herself. She called a taxi and with a bit of a bribe convinced the driver to help get him in the back and she paid him to take Skip to the hospital. She considered telling him not to bother telling Skip who helped him out, but she was in luck when he did wake up from his coma he didn't remember her anyways.

*Opening scene. Camera pans around a swanky home office done with dark wood paneling.*
Geoffrey sits at his desk looking over patient records feeling rather good about himself. The phone rings; still looking over files he answers, "Hello. Dr. Geoffrey Langraab speaking." "Good day, Dr. Landgraab! So sorry for interrupting your day- off, sir, but we have a John Doe here that's showing symptoms of possible amnesia. He has had some head trauma and can't seem to remember who he is or what happened. We need you to come in and see him as soon as you can." "Oh that sounds intriguing. I'll come in right away. Thank you!" Hanging up the phone, Geoffrey glances at the patient records laying haphazardly on his desk, picks them up, and locks them in the filing cabinet. After locking his office door, Geoffrey stops at the stairs debating whether to bother to tell Nancy where he is going or not. Nancy, still in her night gown and loosely tied robe, grabs another juice cocktail from her small bar in her sitting room adjacent to her bedroom. She plops onto her favorite chair when Geoffrey enters the room. Giving a soft sound of disgust, she takes a sip of her cocktail and looks out the window which overlooks their well manicured backyard. Not surprised by her early day drinking nor her reaction to his presence, Geoffrey gruffly tells her he's going into the main office to take a look at a new patient. Still reeling from all the pain he's caused her and the cocktail's influence she coldly screamed, "What do I care, Geoffrey?! Go! Go see your "new patient".. if that's really what you're up to!" Giving a patronizing smile, Geoffrey replies, "Ah. I see you've been enjoying your liquid breakfast for a while now judging by your slurred words and interesting attire," as he walks out of the room closing the door and hearing her let out an aggravated scream followed by the sound of a glass smashing into the door. Walking towards the garage, he pauses to look at Nancy's purse sitting on the kitchen desk. Smirking, he reaches in and takes her car keys and her credit cards only leaving $50 in her wallet knowing she will most likely go out for some unneeded shopping. Whistling, he gets into his expensive car and drives to the hospital.
Hooked up to monitors and laying in an uncomfortable hospital bed, Skip groggily looks around at his surroundings. A woman wearing pale, almost sickly shade of green scrubs enters the room holding a clipboard. His eyes follows her as she walks toward the side of his bed checking the beeping monitors and writing things down. She looks at him and gives him a smile, "How are we feeling today, sir?" Mouth dry, Skip hoarsely answers, "Wh-Where am I?" "You're at the Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital here in Sunset Valley. You've had a head injury, but we have a specialist coming in to see you. In the meantime, is there anything I could do for you?" Dazed by the news, Skip stares at the ceiling and distractedly replies, "Hospital...head injury? What? No...No, I- I don't need anything.." "Well, if you need anything, just press the call button. I'll be at the nurse's station just down the hall." "Oh..okay..thanks." The nurse smiles and walks back out the door. Skip continues to stair at the ceiling trying to remember what happened to cause his injury and hospital stay.
Meanwhile, Nancy nursing her juice cocktail in her new glass, smiles triumphantly at the broken glass shards scattered on the floor in front of the door. "How DARE he treat me like I'm a child! He's such a fool with his air of false superiority.", she thought. Stewing in her bitterness and hate, Nancy thought about her previous marriage and how that ended. Feeling a slight pang of long forgotten guilt, Nancy shook her head and decided it was due time to go shopping. Yes, shopping always brought up her spirits and helped her forget her problems whether they were present ones or ones from long ago. She downs the contents of her glass and heads to her large wardrobe. Getting properly dressed, she heads downstairs and grabs her purse.
Geoffrey arrives at the hospital and is greeted by the staff. A young, attractive nurse approaches him and introduces herself as the nurse who is looking after the John Doe. As they walked up the stairs leading to the wing where Skip is staying, they go over the patient's file and how he is doing now. The nurse enters first with a cheerful, "Hello there! This is Doctor Landgraab. He'll be treating you today." Still looking over the file, Geoffrey enters the room, "I see we have a head trauma we need to look after and some more testing to be done. How are we feeling today?" "I-I'm feeling okie, Dr. Landgraab. Confused rather." Geoffrey stops in his tracks at the voice he thought he wouldn't have to hear ever again. Looking up, he sees Skip sitting up in the hospital bed, bandaged, and hooked up to the usual set of machines. Anxiety plagues him as he quickly glances at the nurse to see if she noticed his reaction to the patient. She was busy looking over the monitors and small talking with Skip. "How could he have survived? I-I thought he was dead! CURSES! I knew I should've stayed around to see if the Grim Reaper showed up...." Sweat starts to bead along his forehead as he approached Skip. Clearing his now dry throat he asks, "You're listed as a John Doe. Could you tell us your name, sir, so we can add it to your file? Do you have any family in the area we could contact for you?" Watching Skip closely for any indication that Skip remembers that night, Skip tightly closes his eyes as if to force a memory, "No...I...I don't know my name. I don't even know if I have any family..." "Can you remember anything about your accident? Anything at all?" "I can't remember anything. All I remember is waking up here and the nurse, there, coming in earlier.." Trying to hide his smile at hearing Skip's response, "Hmm.. I see. Well, there are some tests we could do if you're feeling up to it." "Yes. I'm feeling fine. I just want my memories ba-" Before he could finish, Nancy bursts into the room with a panic nurse following suit. "YOU LITTLE TURD! HOW DARE YOU TAKE MY KEYS AND CARDS FROM MY PURSE! DO YOU KNOW HOW EMBARRASSING IT IS FOR A WOMAN OF MY STATURE TO HAVE TO CALL A TAXI AND BARELY HAVING ENOUGH CASH TO PAY FOR IT?!" The panic nurse quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Dr. Landgraab! She just rushed by us and wouldn't listen when we told her not to come in!" Seething, Nancy continues to stare at Geoffrey, noticing now the pale look of panic on his face and him trying so hard not to even glance at the patient across the room. She of course looked and felt all the blood drain from her face as she made eye contact with a confused looking Skip. She dashed over to his side with a breathless, "Skip!"
Skip watched at this attractive blonde rushed towards him and threw herself onto his lap with tears streaming down her face. "Who's Skip?", he asked bewildered. Nancy, in her tear streaked glory, looked up and giggled, "What do you mean 'who's Skip'? Now, Skip, darling, don't be silly!" Skip looked to the nurse standing next to the bed, then the nurse at the door, and finally to the now red faced Dr. Landgraab searching for a sign that they might have the answers to who this woman is and why she was calling him Skip. Finally Geoffrey spoke. "Nurse, get her out of here! GET HER OUT! OUT!!" Both nurses jumped from the loud outburst and quickly tried to grab Nancy and lead her out of the room. Nancy glared at them, "Don't you touch me!" She then turned her hardening glare towards her husband. "YOU! You told me he was dead. YOU told me Gertrude (now Johnny Zest, dear readers, just in case you forgot) did it! We disowned our own son for it! *GASP* I was so cold towards him. Oh my baby boy! My sweet baby boy!" His own anger rising, Geoffrey sputtered and bellowed, "OUR SON?! OUR SON?! He was NO son of mine. You brought that filth into our family under the pretense that he belonged to me! I even gave him a family name, for Pete's sake! YOU betrayed me by tricking me into raising him when he was fathered by HIM! HIM OF ALL PEOPLE!" as he pointed right at Skip. By now the nurses quickly left the room. Skip sat there wide-eyed and confused. He looked at the woman next to him, "I..I gave you a child?!" Nancy looked at him with such pity, pity in the situation, and pity for his loss of memory. "Yes, Skip, oh my dearest Skip. We have a son."
