Picture it this way: I honestly couldn't careless about minors features other than weather in Seasons (like calender) but I know alot of people want them so I'm glad they have them in-game for them..
See the difference? Someone is selfish here because he only wants to see in game what he likes only :)

You shouldn't support features you don't want, nobody should. When resources go into the things you don't want, that means they're taken away from other things (ie. things you may have potentially wanted). It's not a matter of being selfish, and I have no idea why you would choose to take it personally that way.

How is some being glad=selfish? Some people have different opinions and it isn't like they demanded that hail not be included. Some people are demanding more snow while others don't want that in their game for whatever reason, is that also selfish?

I look forward to the day when I can express my personal desires for what features I would like to see included or excluded in a Sims video game without being personally attacked and labeled selfish for it. I anticipate the day where people's thoughts about a video game can be given without being seen a a personal affront to others. Unfortunately this community is not there yet, and it is why I seldom read these forums anymore.

This is not about supporting features you don't want, it's about understanding that the game should be diverse and shouldn't revolve only around what you want and I want
It supposed to include what all or at least most people want, and most people want hail or even as an option, hail was in all previous Sims 2 and 3 it's not like asking for something new
But again Everyone's is entitled to their own opinion but I never understood being glad a main feature of weather is taken away from an EP that supposed to be about weather, you're encouraging EA to leave more features in future packs simply because you don't like them
Maybe I'm not the type that of person who only cares about myself and what I want only and understand there are other people too that deserve to get what they want..

I never took things personally, lol, when I only want the feature I want implemented and want EA to ignore other features that other people want, you expect other people who want these features to just agree with you? Again for example, I don't care about customized holidays or calender I consider them minor things I mostly care about weather and weather effects (which should be the main focus of a weather EP!) Guess what I didn't even voice my opinion for that or yelled at EA for wasting their time on these minor features, I understood some people want these features so I'm happy for them to have them
Actually if EA pushed the release of seasons to few more months to include all the features that people want (or at least the most important like snow depth and hail, sunburnt..etc) this wouldn't have happened so it's not your fault or mine

Not disappointed the hail storms are missing from Seasons this time around. My Sims were constantly being pelted by the stuff. It didn't matter if it was Spring, Summer or Fall hail fell like sharp daggers of ice that killed my Sims and their gardens. Here in the Pacific Northwest we're known for our ever-changing weather. That's why we dress in layers. One minute it's cold and raining and the next thing you know the sun is out and it's hitting 75 degrees. But wait, yep, here comes the rain and wind again ten minutes after discarding your hoody. The trunks of our cars look like someone dumped an Eddie Bauer store into them. And don't get me started on the snow we get around here. We had snow hit before Halloween last year. Snow is beautiful: For the first day before it melts then freezes once the sun sets. If Sims4 Seasons isn't totally realistic and has a few things left out because the team couldn't make them work in the game, I'm good with that. Real weather is a hassle in Real Life as it is. I prefer my game to resemble Real Life but I can do without extreme weather that damages gardens or injures my Sims. What I have seen so far of the weather in Seasons is just enough to make me happy Eternal Summer will become a thing of the past.

Again, why would someone want features that they don't like added to a pack? Just for everyone else's enjoyment? When people buy packs, they're paying for their own enjoyment, not anyone else's. So why should they even need to consider it?

If so many people truly care about the hail, then you'll all be able to send a clear message about it and at the very least, they'll know a mistake was made. But I fail to see why you want, need, or expect the support of people who couldn't care less about the issue.

I'll also add that I have not made any comment anywhere thus far about the hail, so for all you know I might be someone who wants it, or I might not. I just wanted to point out that fallacy about selfishness. A consumer shouldn't be labeled selfish for asking for what they want, and not asking for what they don't want.

For people who don't like hail it can added as an option to disable it in game..fair to everyone right ?
But anyway that's not how it works for a weather EP, If I don't like rain should EA remove it from seasons EP because some people don't like it ?!
Hail is part of weather and was in all prev Sims games, seasons supposed to be about weather and hail IS weather, this is not about you like or I like it's about implementing weather right, in other ways, implementing all types of weather

I highly doubt a handful of people being happy about something is enough to really encourage EA, it would take more then a few people making a fuss over it to really influence them. They already made the decision and there isn't anything we can do about it besides maybe suggest an update patch.

EA knows that they can't please everyone anyways. In a perfect world and game, we all would get what we want and be happy; but right now that is impossible. Maybe they could of made a settings you can turn on and off or maybe they can't; but either way, people being happy about having no hail isn't really anymore selfish then people wanting deeper snow. We all want different things and in the end, it really is up to what they decide to include or not for whatever reason.

Fair of course, but it doesn't favor everyone. From the perspective of someone who doesn't want the hail, it's just time wasted developing something that they will never use or see. Then something else becomes that person's "hail"

The point was that if you don't like rain, you shouldn't go out of your way to support ideas related to rain, and people shouldn't call you selfish for choosing not to do so.
