How are you preparing your game for Island Living?

I am waiting it out to see how this EP will work before doing anything.

I'm moving forward with my legacy so that I have a teen or YA to move there once it's released.

I'll probably wait till the EP is out, because I want to use some of the new hairs, tattoos and clothes on my sims. As for builds, I'll probably wait as well, since I want to use the new stilted foundations and build the house partially over the water.

I have several members of different households to transform into merpeople. :smile:

I have to build the supernatural club, a spa, and a restaurant for this mixed supernatural/human community I’ve been working on. Maybe a little park as well.

I might start looking into building a tropical/polynesian inspired hut for my sims to live in.

I want to build a hut over the ocean for my sims to live in but I need the pack to do that ?

I think I'm gonna get my legacy founder's fishing up so that he can at least go there to fish, even if he cannot live there thanks to the legacy rules. I may decide to just make a seperate fisher sim and work on them

I am going to wait until I get Island Living before I do anything as I would need the CAS and Build/Buy mode to really make fitting changes (like making new lots or homes with stilts in the water. It would be like this old home and wedding venue I once had in Sims 3, give Sims more tropical outfits, etc...).

Right now I am playing with one family but I usually start over with each new expansion as they give new choices that are for fitting for the sims I have in mind. Seasons allow my sims to pick a Season to get married in and now I can finally have a beach wedding on top of that. Next, I need that Magic game pack once it comes out as some sims should have special abilities due to the character they were based on. Once the game is completed or sims have everything that I personally need for them, I would probably start a more serious legacy play.

I honestly don’t know I have soo many questions like weather ? Is it always gonna be sunny and rain because I also like snow around Christmas time . I’m not sure if I would move my sims there but I will visit a lot
