How big is your family tree?

I've never had more than 5 generations because I always end up starting a new family. I wish I could force myself to stick around the same family longer but they get boring after a while :neutral:
OR I end up getting way too many kids in the first generation so it becomes a pain to let them all have children (and then, indeed, it sucks because it doesn't fit horizontally)

I got to 18 generations! Then the game file was too laggy! Mine have always been big going down but I've never been one to flesh out the family sideways like yours! Good job!

Wow! I love your big family trees! Mine are rather small because I am always starting new saves. However I have already set up a new save (spent more than 2 weeks setting everything up: venues, families etc.) and I want to stick to it this time around, so hopefully I'll have big family trees in a while :)

However since I play rotationally, on a long custom lifespan (YA are 34 days and adults 50 days) and with aging off for everyone but my current household (Sims 2 style) it will probably take a while...

Hahaha I've been playing this legacy since October of 2016 I want to say? I started them off in Windenburg and re-did the massive mansion that the Knights of the Hedge leader lives in (the name is escaping me right now) which has 5 or 6 bedrooms! Then when CL came out, I was on Generation 4 and moved them and all of their parents, grandparents, etc. tombstones with em into the largest Penthouse.

It's been a lot of fun honestly! I have NEVER made it this far in a legacy before but I am so motivated to keep it going when I see the family tree.

I dream of having a tree like this one day! I always get bored by the fourth generation...if I even make it that far!

I always find it hard to get multiple children, cause that means I eventually have to control multiple houses! How do you guys do that? I get so attached and excited to play one family, and then I end up forgetting about the other families. I tried making some siblings live in the same house, but it got too complicated running two sets of families in one house.. I don't think I've ever gotten further than 2 generations, and if I have - they never have more than one child.

Mine is 4 generations right now. :)

Wow, honestly kudos to you people! My own tree seems so small in comparison :lol: But really, those are some impressive trees :smiley:

My own can be found here! I'm only on the fifth generation and there's still some time until I'm starting the next gen. I've been playing this family for almost two years and yet it's so small :joy:
