How common are twins?

My sim is currently pregnant with #3! Here's to hoping it turns out to be #3 and #4!!

I have only had two pregnancies in game so far and the second one was twins. I read one here that someone had triplets!!!

I've been getting twins more frequently than in TS3. In fact, the second pregnancy I played through, I got twins. It seems a lot more common than in previous Sims games.

I've yet to have triplets, though :p

Seems like a lot of people had twins the second time. I did as well. My second generation mother had twins, two girls.

In one of my families The mother had twins a boy and girl the first time. I tried for one more to have three children all together and she ended up having twins again a boy and a girl.

I just had triplets and they were all boy! it shocked me... for a moment there i thought there was a glitch cause the baby announcement window kept popping up, but no it was my sim having 3 boys! lol

Yes I just had 2 sets of twins from the same family too! Kind of annoying as my family is too big for me to manage! It has happened since the patch.

Two sets of twins for my family as well! Twins are irritating, crying aaaaall the time. Luckily not had triplets yet but can imagine that's a complete nightmare!!

On sims 3 I couldn't handle the toddlers... My sims were constantly tired.

My Sim once had triplets and another sim had identical looking twin girls.
