How to get rid of trash plants?

Lately I found more and more trash plants on community ground in Brindleton Bay. Not sure if it because of dog poops in the beach area, that makes those plants grow everywhere.

I don't mind the plants, but their positions are sometimes quite unwanted, but I don't know how to move or delete them. How can they be removed from ground I can't build on?
  • With testing cheats enabled you should be able to either shift click or right click the wild plant and choose remove wild plant. Sorry I do not remember the exact function. ... Now that I think about it I am not 100% sure that this is not part of a mod I have or not. I should test before advising but no time to get into the game right now. Does not hurt to try.

Thanks, I'll try that. Thought it would be a problem as it's off the lots, but plants are not as static as rocks and trees, so hopefully it will work.

If it's off the lot, the only thing you could do is wait for it to rot, then dispose them. This happened outside my sim's house once and I thought it was gonna be there permanently, but no.
  • if you have a sim with high enough gardening or whatever, you could graft it repeatedly until it dies and then dispose of it.
  • If you have MCCC you can shift click on the trash plant and set gardening state to withered, then throw away the dead plant. This might work with regular cheats, but I never tried it before installing MCCC.

Yeah, and there is something that let's me remove wild plants from the world. I just did it the other day. I will look the next time I play.

I'm gonna try this cause it grew right outside my Sims house on the side walk. Right in the middle of the sidewalk. So NPC Sims constantly inspect it when they walk by lol
  • I checked with testingcheats enabled, and yes, with Shift+rightclick(?) on plant, I could set the plant's cycle to wilted, and then remove it. Phew... But these plants are suddenly all over Cavalier Cove, I played that world (BB) a lot in the past, but don't think I saw a single trash plant bar a couple on my dog owner sim's lot.

    PS: MCCC is not needed.

  • Ah, good, they are not forever! Seems like my sims must get busy picking up garbage and poops on the beach. Perfect job for my Janitor :)
