If I create a boys only school, can my sim and other students invite non-school teens to the prom?

- Yes, they can!
- For me it pops up in the first group of interactions that appear when I click on a sim. I am not sure whether it is a Friendly, Romance or Prom interaction. You could check Friendly and Romance also. I seem to always have at least 2 or 3 different versions of ask to prom in that first group of interactions, including "Ask to Prom as Friends" and "Plan to Skip Prom Together".
You might have to wait until a certain point in the week when the "time to prepare for prom" notification pops up?
(And this might seem silly but double check that the other sim is in fact still a teen and did not age up to YA recently) - My Teens graduated early. They immediately went off to Uni, and they still got pop-ups for the pre-Prom parties, as well as to go to Prom. I would have to say, based on that, the answer is yes.
- I’m curious how you got only boys at your school. I thought the game randomly pulled students into the school. I have several particular teens I would like to show up together at school, but don’t know how to do it.
But, my female teen was able to invite her boyfriend that had never been to the school to the prom. They had a high relationship already in friendship and romance, and he said yes. The day of the prom I moved him in with her family so I could control them both. That way they could vote for each other for prom royalty and I could take pictures when they won. They went to a before prom party having been invited, and they were invited for an after party too, but it was outside in the snow and no one else was there so I just took them to a teen club for a bit. Hmm, I'd come to the opinion that they couldn't as when I click on a non-student teen, I don't get the prom menu category...
