I bought the Discover University Pack because I THOUGHT it had an elevator, but I can't find it. Am I wrong to think the first item is an elevator? I've used the search feature and while apartment elevator is a recognized item found, there are no results. Thanks.
Elevators are only useable in penthouse type lots. Without a mod, you can't place them on other types of lots.
You find these 'elevators' also in city living and lovestruck. Exactly like crocobaura said they are only spawning points for penthouse lots (dorms included)
It's an elevator but doesn't function like one. Meaning you can only place one on the lot and it functions like a spawn point. It is used with the shell buildings, as a way for sims to enter and exit the penthouse lots on top of the shell buildings.
