Is there a way I can keep from spawning a second landlord? <SOLVED>

When I first started up the game, it spawned a landlord, my sim was living in an apartment.
Anyways since then I gave her a makeover, and a little dog. This is her and her little dog too. lol (Wizzard of OZ reference there).

I have her marked as played and also clicked the little heart. I was able to mark her as played when I had merged her with another sim that I had played, and moved back out (all in Manage Worlds). I don't want the game to cull her if it can be avoided. So far she is still the landlord for the city apartments.

I feel a little sorry for her, and would like to give her a small one bedroom home, but not in the city, for her and her furry baby. I don't plan on playing her. If I do this, will she loose her status as a landlord. I'm trying to keep the game from spawning a new landlord.
  • YES it WORKED. I just moved her into a small little one bedroom cottage in Windenburg (on the island). Then I moved another homeless family into an apartment, and she's still the landlady. :D Anyways @Cupid I don't have NPC mod, so it must be the MCCC mod that kept things in tact. Thank you very much.
  • In the vanilla game, without mods, if you move her into a house she will lose her job as a landlord.

If you however, happen to have MCCC installed, it has some background functionality that allows sims to have NPC jobs and live in houses as long as they are unplayed. If you do have MCCC installed, I think you would be able to move her into a home as long as you mark her as unplayed first, and never play her.

I would save the game and test around without saving first, though. I tried moving the landlord in my game into a lot and he didn't lose his job, but I have another mod that stops NPC's from being generated. I don't know for sure if that mod had anything to do with the result (but I don't think it did)
