Is there any gameplay value to a museum?

Good for klepto sims! Pretty decent for creative sims to get inspired before hitting the park to paint some plein air.

Made willow creek museum a club hangout for scientists and doctors. I placed a lab in the basement but kept the upper floors the same. refurbished the garden of that one with romantic garden stuff too. So it has the wishing well.

Turned the oasis springs one into a photography studio. Each floor contains photographs of each world taken by a sim who lives in that world.

I believe museums can also be used for weddings.

The science club idea sounds interesting!

My artist Sims always want to go there, but I can never get them inspired once I'm there.

I always keep at least one museum in every save in case I want to complete the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration, which I do quite often, and to satisfy whims. I don't think you need one in each neighborhood though.

I deleted all museums, libraries, and gyms from my game, I only have restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs, most of my worlds consist of homes.

It really depends on what you use them for, generally, Museums are just to view stuff, although granted they usually have information along with those stuff.

Thats what I did, with the big one in Willow Creek. Added the wedding arch outside, converted a part of the downstairs into a small kitchen area and made it into a half-wedding half museum.

This has to be my least placed venue.. Although my Sister visits them often as she has downloaded lots that utilize it.. They really could be used to build your best garden and place to seek peace and solitude to gain great inspiration..

And if your not getting inspired at the museum either 1 of two things.. your Museum doesn't have enough inspiring influences or your Sim is a great outdoors person.
