- Yes, you can turn off the tutorial. Sims VIP has instructions for doing so here: http://simsvip.com/2014/08/26/the-sims-4-turning-off-the-in-game-tutorial/
- the tutorial seems to stop after awhile, I don't seem to see it anymore and I did not turn it off.

For me, it seems that way for a while, but then I go into build mode and it's like it starts all over again. It's ridiculous, and very annoying."Evalen;12604369" wrote:

Of course it stops when you have played the game for a while and followed each of this tutorial- or well "followed" by clicking it off as fast as it appeared like I did. :D- I too am very annoyed by this and I don't feel like messing with adding in game command lines via origin. I shouldn't have to.
Why in the Heck isn't there a simple button in-game option to toggle the tutorial OFF??!!
Once is enough. And yes I'm just starting but it seems to pop up every time. I feel like the OP. It's quite annoying. If I want instruction I'll go to the game Lessons. "Evalen;12604369" wrote:

It comes back with a vengeance. lol If you click on a vacant house and click ' create new household' for that particular lot, viola there is the tutorial again right back in CAS as the day you first played."zorba2357;12876785" wrote:

Amen. There should be an option in game to turn it off. I mean there is an option to 'reset' it why not an in game option to be done with it? Oversight, to the max."Cinebar;12876793" wrote:

Not mine, I have played other sims in other houses and no more tutorials. Added sims and have played them. I have a couple of games going. I do not have any tutorials anymore, I am not sure why everyone's game is so different. Some have this, some don't. Like the demon baby, I never had a demon baby and I had babies before the fix and they were not demons.
It makes we wonder why?- @Evalen, the demon baby I can understand, was a particular video chip problem which would cause things to go all weird if they hadn't tested enough with a particular chip or video card and needed to tweak things, I guess, but I don't know why some of us still see the tutorial everyday in our games. It's annoying but I haven't typed anything in the Origin box. That's whats foreign to me. I mean why not put instructions like that in the lessons, or in the cheat box or even on a toggle in the game? Why did they leave it up to players to go find the proper cheats we have always had in the Help box? or no toggle for off and on with the tutorial etc. Some things about this game can annoy people to much I think and those things should have been patched away the first day.
But maybe it's to do with download or disk version I don't know. That's been known to happen before in these games. The digital be coded differently than the cds , who knows. - I have the CD, I do find that things are different with different people, I got the Prima guide and it does not have any help in it at all. It only tells about the Sims 4 what is in it but no help. It is the first Prima Guide that I got that I don't like. It is like you have to find out everything for yourself. Still seeing new things. Like when a sim dies then the rest of the family hides under the blankets in bed from being sad. Like embarrassments. I find new things all the time.
