Is there cheat to pass Strangerville mystery?

Is there cheat to pass Strangerville mystery? I have solved it in other game save but I don't want to do it again in this save and world, where my three generations of sims are now living. I'd love them to be able to live in Strangerville though, without anything weird happening there.

Sounds exactly like my situation :/
At first I did the mystery "for testing purposes" on other save and now I'd need to play it through a lot of times because I keep a lot of different saves. It's really annoying since I really don't care about that story or that kind of playing but like Strangerville neighborhood. I wish they would have given us the option to turn the mystery off. I don't like the possessed sims walking around... :<

Adduapina, I agree with you. I think what I will do is to play it through one more time and then save this game as a "mystery solved" game, that I can use as a base save for any new games/saves. I can then go to this save, save it again with other name and modify it to my liking and still always have that solved mystery in my game.

Btw, would you happen to be Finn? It's just a thought I had because of your nickname. :D

@RiverX2Bananas Your suggestion is good. Maybe I'll start a brand new game and import my favorite households and lots... Gonna take a lot of work though to get everything fixed :)

    And aye, I am a Finn :>
  • Adduapina, I'm a Finn too. Of course you already knew that because only a fellow Finn can really understand your nickname :D
    Nerdfashion, thank you!
  • I think that if you ignore the mystery, you just have to deal with the occasional possessed Sim - and your sims won't become possessed unless you eat the strange fruit (or you start playing a premade who is already possessed)

This is a good idea. I suggest using all the good mood/energy cheats for the sims to make this as quick as possible.
  • The ONLY way to get rid of the mystery and the infection is to use the Narration cheat which can ONLY be accessed by having twisted mexi’s mod.
