Are you aware that the famous board game "Monopoly" was devised and published during the Great Depression? Many people were out-of-work, getting their food by standing in soup lines. Playing that game gave them back a sense of hope. Here, they could speculate, own property and otherwise forget how hard a time they were having. Don't let it get you down, but rather allow yourself the joy of spending your Sims' Simoleons on whatever gives you pleasure. ;)
