I like that it's a term that encompasses so many different types of magic.
Spellcaster rolls of the tongue easier than Magic User, which is likely what the devs were going for: something that doesn't have preconceptions and associations and leaves the playing field open.
There's a lot of information already out about what we'll be able to do ( @MasonGamer the choice of warn and hand magic comes to mind as something that can be set for each SC, the fact that we'll be able to learn different kinds of magic and even all of it if we want) but I like that there are still a few things I'll be able to figure out once I have the pack.
(off topic: for what it's worth, the idea of a shapeshifter GP with heavy focus on werewolves but the choice of others is intriguing)
