I saw the video and am very disappointed the relationship didn’t suffer as badly. All that happened was a hurt sentiment was received by the sim cheated on but the sim who cheated seemed very proud(after confessing). They could be a little ashamed.
I also hope confess to cheating isn’t just an option for loyal sims. It should be an option for everyone but with more impact if your sim is loyal.

I just read loyal vampires and werewolves get "a bond forged by night" confident moodlet if they become friends. That's so cute! I hope the bug is fixed soon as I think this trait will be perfect for my vampire.

For now I enjoy this trait, no major issues with it. I didn’t see the bug everyone is talking about at this moment. What did disappoint me, is the reused animation. The express loyalty (or something along those lines) interaction has the same animation as caress cheek. ? I would really like new romance animation.

The bug will affect sims who don't have the Loyal trait. Mean interactions were re-coded, as part of the process of creating the trait. It's the recoded mean interactions that are the problem.

I would love for my Vamps & Wolves to get along. Hopefully the Loyal trait will work on my sims.

Any cheating sim could do this since BG. I think the difference here is that they get Wants to do so and Sentiments when they do.

The first thing I did was add the Loyal trait to all of my sims.

The first thing THEY did was immediately cheat on their partners, even ones who had never cheated before.

In my game, the Loyal trait seemed to guarantee that sims will DEFINITELY cheat...so, it's backwards and works the opposite of the way it should, just like everything else.

If anything, it encouraged cheating in my game and seemed to be more of a push to give them tense/guilty moodlets about cheating than anything else. It certainly didn't stop the behavior.

If you're not opposed to mods, use the "Committed" trait by Chingyu. THAT actually works and DOES stop sims from cheating.

Thank goodness that hasn't happened to my sims. However, I only play vanilla, no mods, cc or mccs.
