- It would disappoint me more than if it were just a stuff pack~
- I wouldn't play a multiplayer sims game. I need to be in control of everything. I'm sure there are people out there that would love an online aspect to The Sims. The community for The Sims Online wasn't big, but it did exist during a time before online gaming took over everything.
- HermitgirlNew SpectatorI might try it depending on how it's done... read that as free to people that own the game (perhaps someone provides the server at a cost). However, I'd rather have other content to go with my single player sim game. I wouldn't be very disappointed though. There are simmers that would enjoy it.
- elelunicyNew SpectatorIt’s going to be paid content for sure. I don’t know how they’d be able to charge for an optional multiplayer mode.

definitely unrealistic but what would everyone's feelings about that be?
Doubt it. TS4 use to be a Multi Online Game before it was released till EA made it a Single Player Game. - icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerI'll probably try it out for a while then forget about it. Multiplayer Sims is more of a novelty for me
- Trying not to get my hopes up about a multiplayer update, but it would make me so happy! I’ve been playing co-op stardew valley the last couple days and it’s so much more enjoyable, as is minecraft online (both are sandbox games as well, just like the sims is).
But if this forum is anything to go by, there probably isn’t the demand for multiplayer sims, so yeah it’s very unlikely. - NO!!!! Will never buy another sims multiplayer or ported to other people games sims pack or game. I have tried both and they both rot. Porting takes hours of waiting to be in someone elses game for 2-3 minutes on one fixed point and keeps you from playing the game until your port time is linked - more times than I can count a whole day passed until I could play again on the porting - and you can not even interact in the world. Sims online was even worse - it had almost nothing in common with the regular sims game - you had to use nothing but a pre-made, just one town for every one with no creativity in the world at all - and you were stuck with just Maxis made every thing - plus anything you did buy your sim or their house cost real money. No cheats, no mods, no families, you even had to earn roommates and there was a limit of 4 sims even having to earn 3 of them. Believe me my past 4 experiences with Sims online and then my several tries with the showtime port - which buy the way ended when Sims 3 stopped production because the port was disconnected so now no new sims 3 players even have that option.
Believe me when it comes to online the pc version of the sims does not make a good multi-player because part of the sims pc is all about creativity - and when you lose that to have online play believe me it is not worth it. I have 31 simmers in my family that play this game and thought oh it will be fun to play together - it wasn't. My family gave it up in less than 2 weeks - and we all tried all 4 versions of the Sims online - so it is not as if we never tried it - but saw for ourselves - this is not a good online game when it is no longer made like the game we love - with all kinds of towns. As it is we dislike the lack of creativity in Sims 4, never mind accepting nothing but one town and pre-set sims in real time with real money.
Oh and don't say it will have a single player option - who wants a single player option of that game? Sims with no creativity at all - forget it. - I sure hope not, would be a big disappointment for me. I wouldn't even use it.
- I'm not interested in multiplayer. Any pack that included it would be a pack I wouldn't buy. While I like to talk about what's going on in my game with other players, I'm not interested in cooperational-type play. My creations are my own, and I prefer to keep it that way.
