Microwave food

You can upgrade the microwave, and then you’ll get a positive moodlet. I don’t remember which upgrade it is, but I know one of them fixes the “cold in the middle” issue.

You need to upgrade your microwave. But you need to have level 8 (I believe) in handiness skill to be able to do that.

My game is in Finnish and I don't remember what the microwave oven upgrade is called in English, but it's probably something like "flavor enhancer". You need level 7 handiness skill to do this upgrade but it works.

Microwaves MUST be upgraded completely to avoid this. I didn't even buy microwaves for my Sims due to the bad "cold in the middle" moodlet. When I got insta upgrade for my Sim through the aspiration I tried it on a microwave and it fixed it completely.

Oh ok, I always wondered this too. I didn't know upgrading helped.

I did. But I upgraded it and that worked.

My sims almost never get the bad moodlet, maybe because I tend to buy the more expensive microwaves for them.

I think you don’t get the moodlet if you buy the most expensive one available. But I’m not sure.
