My alien baby looks like a normal baby

Question

I'm not sure if it's a glitch or what, a sims got abducted, and then i didnt play that family again, next time I loaded in, there were twins in the yard. The looked normal but I assumed they were from the abduction. I disregard babies skin color and theres a gltich that complexion of babies not always represent the actual dna of baby. I aged them up today and there is no indication they are aliens in cas. This is my first alien, so I'm not sure if this is normal but they look like normal babies, and there is not alien trait.

I never wanted an alien baby until I got one- twins to be exact- and not heartbroken they are not aliens. Is it a bug or some part of the gameplay I am unaware of?

Could be mod related….   My guess is they are hybrids at best which suggests they are not the result of unmodded abduction (which always results in alien offspring).    Could neighbourhood stories, a mod or some other method have resulted in the pregnancy?

Maybe(!) it's I used the cheat code for the actual abduction because I had the special computer and was accidentally abducted in another family,  but I was so afraid of an alien baby,  at that time,  I exited it without saving.  I heard it's not that bad,  so I wanted to see what happens if I get abducted.  Maybe should try again,  the normal way with the computer @NRowe ?
