I backup (copy) my save everytime
before I update or add packs
at least to desktop sometimes to usb
and I keep some extra older saves too in case of world end
that said I definitely need to get more recent save on usb cause I have neglected that and if my computer explodes uh welp
I guess I've learned my lesson now and need to do this! Previously I only kept backups of my set-up save with all my builds in.
@MrPlumbob thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I do not save like that. I 'save as' and give each save a new number and then when I've got about 3 previous saves I delete the oldest before saving again. This means that all my current saves are only since the bug began.
I think I am lost... :( but yes, definitely lesson learned.
I’m sorry you lost your save. :( The missing moodlets may not have had a chance to have any bad effects in your save. I’m not sure, I guess it would depend on what your sims did. (It probably reset any pregnancies, illnesses, things on a timer) New moodlets should start appearing again for sims in your save. The patch notes didn’t say anything about this affecting previous saves (I guess the moodlets would be reset from when you played with the bug, but I’m not sure if that would cause any problems), but they did say something for one of the crystal creations glitches. (The one where sims’ bodies were changing) If they mentioned that, then I’d assume they’d also mention if it were the case for the moodlets glitch. I’m not sure.
