- alanmichael13 years agoSeasoned AcePerhaps they wanted to add some spice because normally players never use the mean interactions? I also noticed that after the patch my Sims had autonomous woohoo which never ever happened before.
- This explains what was happening during my sims date. Was trying to have my sim get back together with his ex and during the date he started insulting her.

HQ user lazarusinashes yesterday identified the source of the new bug, introduced in this patch, where sims do mean interactions autonomously for no reason.
There is a mistake in the coding of the Loyal trait that affects most mean interactions.

thank you for sharing that @Chicklet453681
If this is true, maybe they follow their old coding ideal that was used for the sims 3 that worked out pretty well.

I don't see that as being the reason, I just believe the code was enter wrong somehow in translation.
If they wanted to spice up the game a good way to start would be with the sims staying in the dorms, the ones that have more then one boyfriend or girlfriend that come to visit them all at once.

This male sim had 4 female sims come to visit him at the same time, each found a way to ignore that he was cheating on them.
Many players do create and play with mean or evil sims, one of my favorites ones I created was Luke aka Lucas who Mr. Feng hate and many other sims in my game don't like my sim too. But my sim found a sim wife who love him like crazy, right now I stopped playing with him because of all the bugs that have been happening in the game. His not the only one I play with that was mean.

Until the bug is fixed, I created an all-mean dorm with evil, hotheaded and mean sims in it. - I updated last night and played for an hour or two. So far I have the opposite problem: no one in the household did mean interactions at all, including the evil sim in the household who normally does mean interactions autonomously. This is very odd.

That is odd, Nancy Landgraab in my game went off on the bartender so the mean bug is still active. - luciusstorm3 years agoSeasoned AceYou know, I hope they fix this before the 18th... sims being mean all the time won't be a great experience for all those new players.
- RySBI3 years agoSeasoned AcePossibly or possibly not related but I’ve noticed today that my sims are showing moodlets related to traits they don’t have. This includes moodlets from the hot-headed and mean traits even though the active sim doesn’t have either.

Sound like it could be, I know with my sims and townie sims that don't have the mean trait or the hotheaded trait in the middle of a conversation with a sim they insult them or want to insult other sim in the room or house for no reason. Townie sims walk in a room and go off on anyone around.
