I was setting up the calendar, and decided it would be a great idea to add my sim's birthdays. However, I have no idea when their birthdays are. Is there a way to find out when each of them have their birthdays?NOTE: I have auto-aging turned off. With the auto-aging off, could I maybe schedule their birthdays to be pretty much anytime? Just maybe pick a day and go with that? Would that work? Or do they actually have a particular birthday that I don't seem to be finding?

I think I agree with @Malwina25 I don't see how you can plan it for each calendar year because it will not ever fall on the same day. In the personality panel it tells you how many days til they age up but its not the same in each life stage.

As far as I can tell, there is not another way to find their birthday then. You'd just have to decide for yourself what day you want to celebrate their birthdays on and go with that. I'm sorry for this, but I think that might be your only option because their birthdays are directly related to the life stage change options that come in 'aging on' play so without it, I think you just have the option to choose your own favorite birthday time for each of them?

Just pick a day and go with it. They likely won't recognize the day as being their birthday, or get upset if they don't get a cake. But for calendar/gameplay purposes it might still be good to try out.I also don't think the present giving would work well either being that everyone would give everyone a gift. We age up to a new stage, but there are birthdays between those that aren't represented and it would be nice to give the party and the presents and such. I might make birthday parties without the age ups in my game too now, even if they can't really blow out the candles or have presents.

You won't see their birthday on the calendar because you have aging turned off. If you were to turn aging on, then their birthday would appear. However, you should still be able to set up a birthday on the calendar and just age them up manually on that day if you want to, or just have it be representative of their birthday if you don't want them to actually age.

I think I agree with @Malwina25 I don't see how you can plan it for each calendar year because it will not ever fall on the same day. In the personality panel it tells you how many days til they age up but its not the same in each life stage.

That's true. But I have the auto-aging off so their birthdays are non existant. They don't have any. At least not that I can find. So their different life stages vs their birthdays don't seem to be a concern. Unless there is still some way to discover when their birthday's are that i'm not yet finding.

How do you find out when their birthdays are when you have the auto-aging off?

The club idea might help create some sort of "guest of honor" idea. Not sure yet how to work birthday parties out but.... there must be a way to manipulate something lol.

I play with aging off too. What I did was pick a day on the calendar for each of my sims and create a holiday called Emilia's birthday for example for my sim named Emilia. I put the traditions of baking (to make a cake), give gifts, and if the sim is a child I added play games. I never age my sims up, so having a birthday is just for fun.

I have autonomy off, so my sims don't do anything unless I tell them to do it. I only give gifts to the birthday sim, but I'm not sure what would happen with autonomy on. You could also use the "open presents" tradition and place one of the present piles on your lot. Then make the birthday sim open all the presents. Again, I'm not sure what other sims will do if you have autonomy on though.
