No more parties?

It seems not. Apparently, they can't do anything by half-measures - it's all or nothing.

BALANCING PASS OF PHONE CALL INVITATIONS
After five years of Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Stuff Packs our phone call invites were admittedly starting to get a little spammy. Moments after moving in, you’ve got Lucas Munch hitting you up, asking you to go to the Bluffs with him. Then not long after, you might have had Vivian Lewis asking you to join her at The Spice Festival. Jeez, let me get settled in first, why don’t ya? We’ve done a tuning pass to rebalance all of these previously competing Phone invites to give you a more meaningful and holistic experience.

Apparently, our party days are over. :o

That’s a shame, I liked them. They could have just made them less frequent

I still have the Windenburg pre-mades calling every other day asking my Sims to join their clubs. Too bad they didn't get rid of those calls too.

Imitating real life.

I liked the party invites spam far more than the current drama node spam. A party invite is easier to ignore than the constant "Should I have a baby"/"I fell in love with you"/"Please visit me I raised you after all"/"Please cheer me up", most of which is coming from other PLAYED sims and breaking charakter :s

I wish I got the baby one more, I always get the from old people are people in a full house so it’s never worked for me ?

I also used to love having my sims get invited out to places. I miss it since they removed it. I would rather they got rid of all the annoying reputation texts than remove sims being invited out. I'm so sick of my sims receiving endless job offer texts just because they have a good rep.

Whenever I took my sims to one of those parties they would get home after three days or so. :lol:
