Now I'm upset, why did almost all my plants revert back? (photo)

My sim has a full garden, and she was getting ready to harvest but was waiting till it was ready, which was about another sim hour into the game. While I was waiting for her to do this, I was having her do something else, but I could see the garden (walls down). One moment the garden was completely full of plant life, and then in an instant it reverted back to being newly planted. I took a picture.

I have never seen anything like this in all my years of playing any of the Sims games, why did my garden do this?

  • There are known bugs with plants after the last patch/Eco pack. It might or might not have something to do with the Neighbourhood Eco footprint. There are several issues, so not sure which one you have.

I had a greenhouse full after my sim moved from Evergreen to Sulani, and basically all my plants reverted back to the piles of dirt/planted state. They have grown back, although it took a couple or more sim weeks.
  • I hadn't had that bug, but one of my Sim's sage plant is glitched where it's just slightly sticking out of the ground when it's fully grown but not ready to harvest.

I have this one, as well as not having plants mature on community lots (my Sim stayed at one for two days to be sure). So far all my plants are growing in my greenhouse on my home lot. I have added a beehive and all is well, other than the issue with the sage. I do notice that the quality changes frequently even though I have the eco stuff turned off for now.
  • It's a known bug, I had it on one lot in Oasis Springs, so had to scrap my plants, but my Willow Creek lot is fine. And, I don't have the pack. You can " me too" and let them know you have one of the bugs

  • I originally thought we could no longer shift-click on a plant to set the stage of their evolution, et al, but was very happy to learn a short time after I complained that I must have used a Sim with too low a gardening skill for that action. My bad. Color these cheeks beet red. :open_mouth:
