Are you using the term 'hoods' as in world, like San Myshuno, Oasis Springs, etc are hoods?
I think there needs to be more than that. If you look at Sunset Valley, there's 92 lots to play with; compared to say Willow Creek which has 25 and Forgotten Hollow which has 5. There's got to be some middle ground somewhere.
I think in 4 hoods refers to each area within a world. So a group of 5 houses and the open space around them is a hood. That's one thing I don't understand though, why they gave us both closed and small worlds. If we have loading screens between everything then surely the worlds could have been the size of sims 3 worlds, or at least half the size. I know we can now travel between all the worlds so in the long run we will probably have access to more lots but I still would rather each world was a decent size.
Oh right, I see. Thank you for explaining that.
So technically, you could have 5 houses that are like the affluent area and then 5 houses clustered together that are a little more run down?
I still think it would need to be bigger than that. Yes, it's cool that you can travel between all the worlds and that's a feature that I'd like to see carried over, but I still think the worlds should be bigger!
