Hello! While I know that things like body hair and sexual orientation are coming to the base game, I haven't heard anything about the NPC Autonomy (uncontrolled sims asking your sims on a date, to be their partner, etc.). That seems like something that could be included in the free update, but I wasn't sure. Does anybody know?

They better give me as much control over that as they did over neighborhood stories. If they mess up my Sims marriage, I'm outa here.

But they said that NPC sims might now break up with our played sims. I tend to love randomness and surprises in the game, but that goes a little too far. I definitely want to be the one to decide which relationships work out, though I do make those decisions based on lots of subtle hints the game throws me.

What I'm shocked about is NPCs will now ask your playable sim to be boy/girlfriend.

I think they said it will only happen if that romance bar gets too low or goes into the red. Which at that point it seems like it’s time to go separate ways, or at least a break.

I’ve had to use mods for that kind of storytelling so I’m super excited for it!

I need to find the post where they mention autonomous NPC relationships because I could have sworn that was a feature that was only coming with the pack, unless I'm remembering wrong ? I hope that feature being base game is true because relationships and attraction isn't just exclusive to teens.

I'm hoping the non-active households Teens will show up at school. I don't mind if I can't control Kayleigh, but it would be cool for her to 'run into' Erik on campus.
